Wolsfelt's was the first place I went to looking for wedding dresses. They were recommended to me by a friend who got married last year. I brought in a picture of the dress I liked, and I walked out with a similar dress! I loved my consultant, and she was very attentive to me. I would highly recommend this shop to future brides.

Wolsfelt's was the second, and last bridal boutique I visited. While I had a great experience at the first boutique, I just didn't get "that" feeling about any of the dresses. We scheduled an appointment for a Saturday, anticipating a bit of a high stress, fast-paced experience. They were certainly busy, but I didn't feel rushed or pressured during my appointment. Laurie was GREAT - she asked about what I had in mind, pulling dresses that fit with my vision, and suggesting others, without being pushy. In the end, not only did I get my wedding dress from Laurie, my bridesmaids and my mom got their dresses from Laurie as well. I am not into veils, head pieces or other hair art and there was NO pressure for me to get those. Even after Wolsfelt's had the sale, we received great customer service. We ordered bridesmaid dresses very close to wedding date and they made it happen....alterations and all!Speaking of alterations, Carmen is AMAZING!!! My dress fit absolutely perfectly after alterations. Carmen was incredibly creative with the bustle. I would have had no idea what I wanted that to look like. It was just perfect.I loved Wolsfelt's pre- and post- sale...got a big hug and help getting my dress into the car when I picked it up! Thank you all for a great experience.P.S. Best shop mascot behind the counter!

Wolsfelt's is my favorite place to shop for formal dresses. The staff is very nice and professional and they are just very sweet. I plan on shopping there again in the future.

I got my dress at their sample sale in July and could not be happier. I had picked a ton of dresses out (including custom made ones) and I never felt like the saleslady was pushing me towards the more expensive ones. The dressing rooms are a little bizarre (since they only have heavy curtains) but I loved my experience anyway. I also got my veil and headband from there during one of their many sales.

I was very happy with the dress shop and the people I worked with there. They were friendly, not pushy. I didn't like that I couldn't take pictures of the dress before I purchased it here, as I would have liked my mom to see it before I made the decision. After buying the dress, they were helpful and took it back 2 weeks prior to press it. I would recommend this dress shop to others.

I had a great experience buying my wedding dress from Wolsfelt’s. Working with Jackie to choose the dress was wonderful - she was so patient and relaxed with me during every visit. She’s the best! When there was a hiccup with my dress when it came in, Vicki was awesome about keeping me updated as the issue was taken care of - I never had any doubt that it would be. Finally, Carmen in alterations did a wonderful job making the fit perfect for me. Thanks so much to the team at Wolsfelt’s! I loved my dress!

Jackie was amazing! She helped with my veil and dress and both turned out great. I lost some weight between each fitting so my dress had to be molded into a whole different shape and they did it! I would suggest Wolsfelt's to future brides!!

Wolsfelt's was the 3rd place I went to try on dresses and I was sold within 72 hours of my first appointment! Previously, I had been tired of other places making me feel an internal obligation, like I had to make a decision by the end of the appointment. Jackie was patient, creative, friendly and not pushy! When I decided I liked a dress better than a previous one, she took it away knowing I had a better option in mind, it kept my mind clear as I had a few dresses to try on. We had a private area for guests to watch me in my dresses without going out to be by girls in the rest of the shop (which in the past had resulted in other girls wanting to try on my top contenders and not having them back from "their turn"). When my dress came in, it was perfect and I was extremely happy! Their alterations department was very helpful. Jackie was very understanding when I looked their for bridesmaid dresses and decided to go with a brand carried by another store.I would recommend ANYONE to go and try their dresses. I wish I could go through the experience again!

I found my dress on the first day I went looking! I walked in and told the person helping me what I was looking for and she brought me a few dresses. The second dress I tried on was "the one." She listened to what I thought I was looking for but also what I wanted the end look to be. The dress I ended up buying was not what I initially had in mind but it was THE PERFECT dress for me. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. The fittings and alteration process was easy. They did a really great job to make my dress fit perfectly.

Wolsfelt was great to work with. I had a limited time to get my dress and bridesmaid dresses and they were awesome and helping with that. The seamstress that I worked with did a great job with my dress which had a very difficult hem and it looked beautiful when I picked it up for the big day. They also did a great job with helping me find bridesmaid dresses that would come in fast enough in time for the wedding and stayed on top of the order to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you!

We got my wedding gown, my rehearsal dinner dress, mother of the bride dress, all of my bridesmaid dresses, and the tuxes from Wolsfelts. They were all very helpful anytime we went in the bridal salon. Wolsfelts has a great stock of dresses and tuxes to choose from, we were very pleased with all of the selections. I do think that their prices are a little high all around, but having many services (wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, mother dresses, tuxes, invitations, shoes, etc.) in one location kind of makes up for it.

The dress selection at Wolsfelts was amazing. There were top designers, as well as custom dresses. They offer great promotions to help brides save money. I purchased my dress, as well as other accessories from them. The in house alterations are great. I was able to go back as many times as neeed to get the perfect fit. Don't let the name fool you, they offer all styles of dresses. They also have men's attire and mother of the bride dresses.

This was the first place that I went to find a wedding gown. I made an appointment and met my mother and sister there on a Saturday. I got about 15 minutes to grab a few dresses (about 10) and felt rushed to just get the few because they said it was a start and I could go back to get some more later after I had found my "style". I had called ahead for one particular dress which they left until last to show me. I got an hour and a half to try on the 10 dresses of which some I didn't like right away but they kept trying to convince me that it looked nice. I kept saying I like this about the dress but not this can we find something else? She left and came back with 1 dress of which again was strapless. When I got there they asked what I was looking for and I said anything but strapless and 8 of the 10 dresses were strapless. I kept asking to see something else but she said that there was nothing else. What? I saw 30 dresses tried on 10 of them and there were tons upstairs and downstairs. I don't even know how many different designers in bags. As I walked out of the room to see in the big mirror I said "I like what that girl has on there." The associate said no you don't. Half joking then looked at her watch and said our time was up. I was sooooo disappointed. They had so many dresses but I think I only saw 30 or so of the bunch. I should also mention there was a trunk show of which that was all they were pushing on me. Strapless trunk show dresses that she said at the end that I may or may not be able to get once the weekend was over. Huh?? What a waste of time. I can only suggest to others to be very agressive and pushy about what you want if not they walk all over you. I am a fairly shy person so for me I found this very frusterating. They tell you no information about the dress, (which is common) but then no ball park figure for alterations. I also found them pushy about making another appointement and their other services-photography, candy, etc.

Wolsfelt was outstanding!! I heard about them from my sister who bought her wedding dress from them. Every time we were there they treated us like royalty and catered to our needs. I never worried about my dress not being finished or not being ready. They have a great system in place and I would STRONGLY recommend this vendor to ANYONE!

My daughter purchased her wedding gown at Wolsfelts in January 2010. The entire experience was amazing. We worked with Jackie who took time to listen to my daughter's preferences and brought in a variety of gowns for her to try on. There was a great variety from which to choose. After about three or four dresses, Erin found the one she loved. She was then able to quickly go through the other dresses to see if the dress really was "the one". It was! The dress arrived in plenty of time for alterations. Sharon, who did all of the alterations did a fabulous job and the dress fit perfectly. The dress arrived about five months before the wedding but remained at the store until the week of the wedding. This was a relief to us. We loved our experience. Everyone was very professional and took great care to make the experience special for the bride. We could not have found a better salon to meet our needs. I noticed in reading other reviews that some brides complain that the tags are cut out of the dresses and some people took exception to that. Personally, I think it made it easier for the bride to find the dress that was right for her. You weren't encumbered by a label but rather trying to make certain that the dress flattered your figure. Once the dress was purchased they willingly told the bride who the designer was. We would highly recommend them to everyone. We found the prices reasonable and found a large selection of dresses to meet any budget. Kudos to Wolsfelts! They made an overwhelming process fun.

Every bride in the Chicagoland area has GOT to try Wolsfelt's! It is worth the trip to get it right the first time!Everyone at the shop is SOO nice that you almost want to invite them to your wedding! Heather was the salesperson who helped me pick my dress and she was wonderful!!! Also the sweet golden retriever in the store that comes to greet you is also a plus! I am a size 16 bride and everyone knows the samples are all size 10- but Heather had a GREAT selection of dresses for me to try on and we even were able to modify and customize the dress I chose. I did not want a strapless gown, so Wolsfelts had the designer customize the dress to make straps and it looked beautiful!! Of course you want the dresses to be be cheaper, but for the quality and style- we were happy paying under $1500 for dress, taxes, alterations etc. It was within our budget. They also went as far as custom ordering my headpiece and veil- everything worked well. They were also very flexible in making arrangements to pick the dress up on a Tuesday since my wedding was on a Friday. I would go over and over again to the store to buy dresses! Thank you Wolsfelts for a wonderful purchasing experience!!

Laurie and Carmen of Wolsfelt's couldn't have made me look or feel any better than they did for my wedding day.I absolutely HATED bridal gown shopping and spent more time on that than ANY of my other wedding arrangements. I visited over 10 stores and tried on probably more than 100 gowns (I am NOT exaggerating!).Somehow Laurie just felt what I needed, what suited my figure, and what would be the most flattering. My Pronovias (Melbourne, Spring 2010) gown was absolutely stunning. I felt beautiful in it and I received many compliments. Most importantly, since I was so difficult to shop for, Laurie figured out the unique touch that I needed, as I was demanding on some specific requests and intricacies.Carmen, the alterations specialist, customized my gown beautifully. She made sure that every square millimeter fit me like a glove and that all the tailoring was perfectly suited for my shape.Wolsfelt's is an excellent boutique in that it has an amazing selection for everyone's budget, has a unique touch for detail, is very accomodating, and the staff is friendly and not conceited. I wanted an upscale experience, and I got it without any unnecessary hoops to jump through.I am SO thankful to Laurie, Carmen, and Wolsfelt's!
