TERRIBLE!!! If you're ordering something STAY AWAY! They told me two weeks for my shoes and its been almost SIX weeks and still no shoes!! They only offer store credit on returns, they do not follow through with orders (I had to call to check on my order that was long over due!) If you want hassle-free shopping, this is not the place to go!!!

The Wedding Etc is the place to go for all of your wedding needs from veils to headpieces to cake toppers to anything else miscellaneous you might need. It is all about the service here and they are beyond helpful! When I was disappointed that the girl in the cake topper I wanted didn't have brown hair, they painted it for me. They did exactly what I wanted when it came to my veil because I had some very specific wants. They knew my name every time I walked in the door after my second visit. They were able to provide everything I needed! They genuinely care about you and your wedding and want to make it everything you want! I would recommend The Wedding Etc to everyone I know getting married! I can't wait to go in and share the day with them!

I love to wear headbands, so for my wedding I wanted a big amazing headband. I could not find anything anywhere close to what I wanted. I decided to go to The Wedding Etc. and I was so happy I did! The salesperson there was so helpful, and unlike so many other places, they had so many great headpieces I couldn't even choose! I ended up exceeding my budget and picking one that was so amazing I didn't even care, and never regretted it. They even let me put down a deposit, and pay for the rest next time I came in. I decided to look at the shoes while I was there. I had been having a hard time finding wide shoes with a short heel that had sparkles, and the first shoe I looked at were exactly that, and they were so perfect! I found all of my accessories in one day! The only thing that was wrong was that I had to order the shoes and they told me 2 weeks but it actually took 3 and they did not call to tell me of the delay. I can overlook this because they were perfect, and a great price! My headband and shoes looked great for my wedding. I wore the shoes all night, and will be wearing them again for formal occassions. The store has HORRIBLE costumer service!! I purchased a pair of shoes from this shop and the next day (after an hour of wearing them) they broke! I tried to return them to the store and the manager refused to give a refund or an exchange! She was extremely rude and cold during the interaction and VERY unhelpful!! I like to support small business' but this shop had VERY poor quality products and were NOT cooperative with costumer's needs!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!

The Wedding Etc. is a great store in the heart of Downers Grove, with the cutest wedding items imaginable! I bought this great wooden card box, that slots that I could put pictures in and it locked. It was super cute and very well built. I also bought my dessert server set, my something blue, a bride tank top, crystal cake topper, bouquet picture frame and crystal head band there. The bouquet picture frame tied into my bouquet and had a small cherished picture of my grandma in it. Everyone at the store was really great to talk to and very helpful. I can't say enough great things about this place. If you are getting married it is a must stop at store. You never know what you might find, but I'm sure it will be cute!

The Wedding Etc has THE CUTEST STUFF! I found the most AMAZING jewelry there! Also my headpiece, things for my bachelorette party, my shoes, bridal party gifts, a memory candle, our unity candle, our guestbook, and my outfit for getting ready on my wedding day (A cute personalized hoodie and capris). Everyone was so helpful every time I was there, and they were quick to call me and let me know when items I ordered came in. Basically I couldn't have had my wedding without this place!

Bought my jeweled hair pins from them. Make sure to give yourself at least 3 weeks from when you place your order to when you need the items as they are hand made.

Wedding Etc. is a perfect place to go to order almost anything you need for your wedding. I purchased many items for my wedding including a unity candle, wedding party gifts, a bride shirt and a lot more. It is a great store to go into to get ideas. They have fantastic customer service. They are always willing help and are very friendly. Each time I went into the store they recognized me and even helped me personalize a handkerchief when I was in a major time crunch! I plan on going back to get gifts for friends of mine who are also getting married soon.

Purchased several items here including unity candle, engraved toasting flutes, garter, flower girl jewelry, and more. They even sent back the first set of toasting flutes because they said they would not accept the quality, so they ordered us new before we even saw the flawed ones. The sales ladies were extremely helpful each time I was there!

The Wedding Etc in Downers Grove is the place to go for all those items you need for a wedding that you may not be able to find anywhere else! As a mother-of-the-bride, I made several trips to their store. I was always greeted with friendly & professional service, and they were always able to assist me in what I needed on that particular visit. When planning your wedding, be sure you plan a trip to "The Wedding, Etc" - you'll be glad you did!

The Wedding Etc. did a FANTASTIC job for tinting the bridal party's shoes. They were very informative and helpful in the process. I would absolutely return to the store for tinting shoes and more!

Michelle is sweet and incredibly helpful. She made sure all my bridesmaids ordered their shoes on time and had all the right sizes. I absolutely loved my shoes and my bridesmaids shoes that I found at The Wedding Etc. It was great that they offer so many shades that you can dye your shoes so that they can match the dresses perfectly. They also dye right on site so it's done pretty quickly. I also found my wedding day earrings and flower hair piece at The Wedding Etc. The accessories are a little pricey but many are hand made so they are great quality and really make a statement! If you are planning to order anything from The Wedding Etc. definitely work with Michelle. She's the best!

I bought my bridal party bracelets here and the girls absolutely LOVED them! The staff at the wedding etc. was very helpful and patient as I contemplated many jewelry options for my girls! In the end, the bracelet I chose was PERFECT! I will definitely be recommending the wedding etc. to all my bride to be friends looking for unique accessories in a small shop atmosphere with EXCELLENT customer service! Thank you so much! :)

I can't tell you how happy I was to find this place!! Jean and staff are wonderful to work with, and I couldn't believe all that they had in the store. I was there every few weeks and every time I went there I bought something. If you are looking for something a little different and not what you can find anywhere else, give them a try, you'll be happy you did! I'm going to miss our visits!!

I can't say enough good things about this place. Everyone was professional and and so ready to help me out in my last minute 'crisis' of needing to order my headpieces. They were also great about any and all of my concerns and did a fantastic job on my custom orders. I recommend any bride stop by and experience just how great this gem of a store is!

I got my veil from them - they had a good selection and the staff was very helpful. My veil was beautiful and perfect! I delivery date got pushed back, which I understand is not completely their fault, but still frustrating nonetheless. I would recommend them for veils!

The customer service was absolutely great. They were very friendly and helpful. They had the best selection of jewelry. I showed them a picture of my dress and hair style and they were able to suggest the perfect neckless and earings. I received so many compliments on my neckless it surprised me. They also had the biggest and nicest selection of shoes. And I found there pricess were so reasonable. The shoes at the bridal shops were a lot more expensive and the selection was so minimal.

Cute store, lots of wedding selections from gifts to personal attire, really set up well for a small store. The prices were the best I found around and they had actual shoes in the back that you could try on & buy right there in your size! If you were running late on time this is the place to go. They have favors, jewelry, gifts, shoes, head pieces, and much more. They also have a website that they just updated. Even if just for a visit to the cute town of downtown Downers Grove, I would recommend checking out this bridal store.
