The Onion Pub was absolutely wonderful in all aspects of our wedding!!! Not only did they work with us on special dietary needs, but they were truly there throughout the entire process. I had dropped off centerpieces, table numbers, etc the day before our wedding and was absolutely STUNNED on how perfect the room looked when I saw it on the big day!!! Not only was the service and ambiance of the room wonderful, but the food was fantastic!!! I have never really heard many people rave about food at weddings, but I must say that people are STILL talking about how great the food was. Jody really takes the time to work through all of the details to make sure everything is just right. We couldn't have been more pleased!!

As flexible as could be - we are so happy we found this place! The food was great, the atmosphere was wonderful. We were the first to do brewery tours as part of our reception. The space is great, the music options were flexible, can't say enough good things. Jody and Patty were extremely helpful too!

My Husband and I had our wedding and reception at the Onion pub, and it was so wonderful!! We had an appetizer reception with a pasta station, and all of our guests loved it. We had 100 guests, and our entire wedding cost about 6,000$. The biggest cost was our 2 hour open bar, so all in all I think it was a great deal. The pasta station is super reasonable, and ensures everyone is full without spending crazy amounts of money. We didn't have to use any of our own decorations, they had beautiful candles on each table. I simply sprinkled rose petals on the table. Amazing place that my husband and I can come back to every year for our anniversary!

We fell in love with this place right away. It had everything that we were looking for in a venue. High volted ceilings, great views, indoor and outdoor sites. Working with there event coordinator was the best. Jody was there for us when ever we had or question or needed something. Would not have gotten through most of the planning without her. Tasting went great and it was more then we could have ever ask for. Just going for dinner and lunch was great too.

The only downside to the Onion Pub for us, was that it was kind of an inconvenient location for our families aking guests. he other bride wasn't ready to make a final decision so she removed her hold. I booked them based on their video and they completely exceeded all my expectations. Thank you Onyx and the Washington Talent team for keeping my wedding going all night long!!!!l night long!!!!

We had our Christmas wedding here and it was the most wonderful experience! The high ceilings, pillars of wood, and huge windows over looking a pond gave it a rustic feel, while the Christmas trees and lights made everything extra festive. Jody Cohen was our coordinator and she was always available to answer any questions we had. The food was absolutely delicious and we really couldn't have asked for a better venue. Originally we were looking at places in Chicago, but they were far too expensive for what you got. The Onion Pub was extremely reasonable and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone in the Chicago area!

We loved this venue!!! It felt both elegant and "homey" at the same time. Jody was super helpful to work with, and made sure our day went smoothly in every aspect of the day. The portions were large, and delicious. The setting feels set apart and exclusive. It was perfect for us!

The Onion Pub & Brewery hosted my wedding reception and dinner. It was fantastic. Jody Cohen was the contact person and although it took her several days to return calls or emails (due to other weddings/events), she was very attentive and flexible. I was able to create the reception that I had envisioned....it was unique with woodsy features, outdoor deck with tables, lake views and waterfalls, great amounts of natural lighting and high ceilings and rich wooden chairs and decorations.
The food was delicious and served HOT! We had wine service and open bar with brewery beers. We loved out soup, main course and desert!
Everything was wonderful - I recommend the Onion Pub!
