Standing Room Only Orchestra

I had heard so many wonderful things about this band, so I went to hear them live before we made any decisions. Mike from Standing Room Only was awesome. He was personable throughout the entire process. They kept my guests dancing the entire evening. they played a mix of music throughout the night. I could not have been happier.

We absolutely LOVED this band. My husband and I were skeptical about getting a band because we knew we would have a very young wedding that would want some upbeat, fun, and some current music. All of our young friends were blown away by the music they played, and how good they sounded. A couple people mentioned during the wedding "when is the band gonna start?" but at that point, the band had already started playing. They knew exactly when to play everytime of music. They were loved by everyone at the wedding young and old. I have never been to a wedding with the dance-floor packed 100% of the night. We highly recommend them to anyone considering a band.

"Awesome" is really the only way to describe our experience with Standing Room Only. From first receiving their very professional and informative press packet to the final minutes of our reception, they were nothing but attentive, professional, and talented. Mike, the band's contact, was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Also, he wasn't at all pushy. He gave us a couple of reminders (one phone call and one email) before we booked, but didn't call incessantly or use "scare tactics" ("Well, I have two other couples who are also interested in that date, so BOOK NOW!") to try to convince us to hire SRO. He made it very easy for us to give him the information he needed about our event by sending us forms via e-mail, and even called after we returned the forms to double-check the information. Then he called the event manager at our reception venue to double-check with her and make sure there weren't any problems with timing or anything.As for the music, well, we had a reception hall full of professional and amateur musicians and they all left impressed. We received compliments for weeks after the wedding! And, for a really special touch, they let a friend of ours sing a song with them towards the end of the reception (after first checking to make sure it was okay with us!). Our entire experience with SRO was exceptionally well-managed and enjoyable, and we would recommend them to anyone looking for live music for their wedding. Well done!
