Spinnin' Discs

Laura at Spinnin Discs was extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process, from choosing a DJ, to our light monogram, to the photo montage. Our original DJ was no longer working for their company not long before our wedding date. But Laura set up meetings with multiple DJs for us to meet and find another good fit.

Spinnin' Discs is AMAZING!!! The DJ can totally make or break a wedding and Tom totally made our wedding rock!!! We didn't give him a strict "must play"/ "do not play" list - we just told him to read the crowd and keep everyone dancing and Tom definitely delivered. From the VERY FIRST song our dance floor was full with all 265 guests and they were on the floor THE ENTIRE NIGHT! Tom kept the perfect mix of new, old, rap, country, slow, fast all night and was wonderful to work with. Tom kept us on track all the night with our timeline and always checked in with us to make sure we were ready for the next event.Laura and Ron were also so responsive and a pleasure to work with - Ron even mixed us a special song for our first dance. I had absolutely no doubt that with them in charge that our day would go flawlessly! I have also been to 2 other weddings where Spinnin' Discs was the DJ and they were equally as happy as we are.If you are looking for an amazing DJ - look no further!

Loved it. They were great in planning with us and choosing the right DJ for us. Very structured and professional. No pressure, just reliable service. Dale was awesome in working with the different age groups, the foreign names and keeping the party going. He was totally in tune with our taste of music and our needs for this party. Loved the keepsake CDs that we received at the end. That was a great surprise.

My husband and I would absolutely recommend this company to ANYONE who is looking for a DJ for their wedding. We worked a lot with Ron who helped us organize our event and pick our DJ. He was fantastic! He was always very quick to respond when we needed anything and will go out of his way to make sure things go smoothly. It was nice to go to the open house and meet our the DJs and be able to pick one that fit our personalities. Then, 3 weeks before the wedding our DJ went into the hospital and they weren't sure if he would be able to make it to our wedding. Ron didn't waste any time - he immediately set up a meeting near our home 2 days later with a new DJ and had a few back ups ready in case we didn't like him. Terry ended up filling in for us and he was AMAZING! We were thrilled with the job he did and he did it all coming in at the last minute. ALL of the staff at this place is fabulous and completely accomodating and their prices are incredibly competitive. We got our photobooth through them and even the two services combined was about as much as we would have paid for just DJ service anywhere else.

Laura, Ron and Keith were amazing from the beginning. I went to a few local DJ vendors who were over priced and would a point us a DJ. I like Spinning Discs, because Ron let me meet with a few guys to see who would fit with our personalities. We picked Keith he organized the reception to a tee. He knew I was picky about certain songs and he stuck to the list. We also got the photo booth at the last minute and that was a huge hit!! Ron and Laura will do anything and everything to accommodate your needs!! Love you guys thanks for a unforgettable night!

dale was our dj for our wedding. we were super nervous at first because we didnt know who to chose. we were able to meet with a couple dj's before we had to choose "the one" i am so glad we went with dale. he was interactive and kept everyone dancing the entire night. everything ran smoothly and he played what we requested and also threw in some of his own ideas to make sure the dance floor stayed packed.awesome job! would highly recommend him.

I first heard of Spinnin' Discs at the Chicago/Milwaukee Bridal Show in Schaumburg. They played music for the runway show there. The music flowed so well, I knew they were going to be our DJ.First, we dealt with Laura Flamion through the contract process. She is such a great person. We got married in Costa Rica and had professional pictures taken there. Laura offered to help me out with any additional setup I may have needed if I was going to do a slideshow at the reception. Also, if there was anything else I needed, she was there to help out.Wayde was assigned as our DJ for the night. I knew a lot of my music was not my mom's cup of tea, so I gave Wayde my playlist and told him he could throw in some music he thought would get everyone out on the dance floor. He did just that. Wayde played all of the music I asked him too, plus added some in that had all dancing. Everyone commented on how they loved the music combinations he put together and what a great job he did. Everyone I met at Spinnin' Discs was so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

Everyone we worked with at Spinnin' Discs was great! They really listened to you during the whole planning process and really made it simple. They were extremely responsive when we had questions and answered them all very quickly.Our DJ kept the party going!! We had a great time and are extremely glad we went with Spinnin' Discs. I would recommend them to future couples. They are very nice and easy people to deal with and they do a great job!!

Being from out of country, we needed a DJ service we could trust, and be flexible with what we wanted. Planning a wedding long distance was tough enough, but Laura set us up with Ron and he was amazing. He was open to every song selection we wanted including individual entrance songs for all 8 couples in our bridal party. Ron made us so comfotable when we met for the first time 4 days before the wedding. He had great suggestions and just made everything so easy. He was especially generous with what he included in our package. I would definitely recommend Ron and Spinnin' Discs for ANY function! THE BEST.

Many friends of ours have used Spinnin' Discs for their weddings, and they are always the weddings that are the most fun! The dance floor is packed constantly and one great song is played after another. This was so true at our own wedding and my husband and I didn't leave the dance floor all night! Our DJ was Phil, who is excellent to work with. They are very reasonably priced and very quick in getting back to you. Definitely recommend them!

Absolutely loved Spinnin Discs!!! Our wedding was spectacular and DJ wade helped make that happen. The DJ knew every step of the wedding and kept us on track. He was very friendly and play excellent dancing music. He followed everything my husband and I wanted during the wedding. I dont have any complaints with this company. Through out the night I kept getting compliments from all of my guests of our DJ and the lighting and how wonderful it looked!

Spinnin’ discs is wonderful. Everyone who I dealt with was extremely helpful especially Laura! They respond quickly and do an awesome job. We used Jonathan as our DJ for our wedding and he was AMAZING!!!! He had EVERYONE on the dance floor for the whole night. I would strongly recommend people to use spinnin’ discs! I LOVED them!

I can't say enough things about Spinnin' Discs. They were great. Laura was always happy to explain or help, Ron always made special trips to let us pay over time (after hours) and Tom made our wedding a memorable experience for all. Tom kept things moving and was always there to give us a nudge - you won't think so but it is so nice to have someone else think of - when do I need to do the garter - when should we cut the cake - who is going to make sure the wedding party lines up - HE ROCKED. We were referred here by our venue in Schaumburg. I have to say they did an amazing job, our DJ for the night was Dale and he did an incredible job. Played all the songs we wanted, took requests, and played dedications when we requested them. He also kept the entire night on schedule by making sure we knew when the dances were, the garter toss, cake cutting, etc. He even went as far as to ensure parents, grandparents, and bridal party were in the room when important events were to take place.Even the planning process was extremely easy. We were on a time crunch as we waiting till 4 months out to get a DJ, and it turned out to be plenty of time since they have an amazing online planning form, where you plug in what songs you want when and for what event.I had several compliments on the entire playlist during out whole wedding and people have even requested we send them the soundtrack. If that isnt the biggest copmliment then I dont know what is.Thank you Spinnin Discs!

Spinnin’ Discs did an incredible job at our New Year’s Eve wedding. Ron was so nice to work with – he was very helpful, always responded quickly, and is just a really nice person – all of which we especially appreciated because we planned our wedding from out of state. We were almost going to attempt to get by with an iPod playlist, an MC, and speakers, but I am SO happy we went with Spinnin’ Discs. They took care of the flow of the reception events and we didn’t have to think about a thing the night of our reception, and having a DJ really made it a party. Ryan was our DJ (and he had an assistant working with him), and he was so great. He played a great mix of songs, was only on the mic when needed, and was just really nice to work with and very accessible and accommodating. He did a great job keeping the party going and playing the songs we requested (and not playing the ones we didn’t want). People were dancing all night, but by the last hour or so of the night, our huge dance floor was completely packed and the floor of the banquet room was shaking with some many people dancing. Ryan was also great with a few of the surprises our family threw at him the night of the wedding (such as a 10-piece bagpipe band marching in). For one of the last songs, our guests circled around us for Piano Man and afterwards Ryan had everyone give us a big group hug – that was a great spontaneous idea and I can’t wait to see the picture of it. I also have to mention that we were scrambling to get a slideshow to them, and due to a mix up (which was completely our fault), Ron helped provide a projector at the last minute and even ended up showing up at our reception (on New Year’s Eve) to help set up a DVD player when the projector didn’t work with our set up. It was a great feeling to work with such nice people and they helped us throw an incredible party that our friends and family have said was the best New Year’s Eve ever. I really hope we have a reason to work with them again, they did a great job!

Everyone from the sales office to the D.J team was absolutely amazing. They took the time to listen to what we wanted for our wedding and ceremony music and gave us their advice on the information we gave them. They also were able to get song requests that were not on their playlists. We would highly recommend Spinnin Discs for anyone planning an event or wedding!They were amazing!!!

Dear Brides and Future Brides! Spinnin Disc's is your DJ! I spend a lot of time during our wedding planning researching DJ's and meeting with DJ's. Finally, I got so tired of hearing the same sales pitch over and over again that I was eliminating some of the DJ's just because they had put so much pressure on us to go with them that it was a major turn off. We met with about 9 different DJ companies in the Chicagoland Area, all of which had reviews of 4 and above. I actually did not physically meet with Spinnin Disc's until after we booked them. I am a business professional and got into a bit of a time crunch b/c we spent so much time researching vendors. I had emailed back and forth with Spinnin Disc's for about 2 months, during that 2 months, they responded to all of my questions promptly, never pushed a sale, and seemed very interested in getting to know me and my needs before even discussing the financial side. About 4 months into the planning my husband went to the "meet the DJ" night and came home with Rave Reviews on all the DJS. (He met 4). He had the hardest time trying to decide b/c he felt they we're all perfect (this was a first...prior to this night he hasn't found any DJ's he liked this much) so we went with his favorite of all Brett...the week before our wedding we went to the office which was very neat/organized and welcoming. The day of our wedding came around...and Brett was AMAZING...he assured me that he would be the master of all for that night and I had nothing to worry about...and that he did. He came and checked up on us every now and then, but he ran the entire show for the night. Even things that fall outside of the DJ category he handled! It was perfect! I could go on and on and on about Laura, Brett, and Ken. They we're SOOO amazing! If you really want your day to be perfect go with Spinnin Disc! I would recommend Spinnin Discs to everyone !! Did a GREAT job. My DJ was Bobby and he was wonderful. Helped me through song selections that I was unsure of and also showed up at the ceremony/reception at 3pm and it did not start until 6pm !! Thanks Spinnin Discs for doing such a awesome job !
