From start to finish - these guys were amazing. So calm, cooperative, friendly and easy to work with. I have received countless compliments on the food - and especially the staff and service. They really helped make our night so special and perfect! I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING - I really could just enjoy everything! Cannot thank them enough!

I recently had my wedding ceremony and reception at Salvatore\'s and I couldn\'t have been happier with the results!! Salvatore\'s is a beautiful venue especially for a smaller wedding. We had 85 guests and used the main dining room, pasta vino room and bar, and outdoor patio. We did not use the west room. Everything went so smoothly from initial meeting to the day of. Amra was our initial contact and she promptly answered any emails I sent and was always super sweet. Tara was our day of coordinator and met with me the week before the wedding....she was amazing! So nice and easy to talk to. She set everything up exactly as I described and made sure everything ran smoothly. She is sooo nice (she didn\'t even accept the tip I gave her at the end of night). The food is delicious too and the best part is it is actually affordable for a Chicago wedding! (especially if you have it on a friday like we did). I have had many compliments on the venue since our wedding day. I would recommend Salvatore\'s to anyone getting married in Chicago!

My daughter's wedding reception was here in early June and was a delight and joy from start to finish! The space is warm, cozy, romantic, beautiful, and unique. The food was so delicious that as I walked from table to table I noticed every plate was completely clean. The portions are generous, the ingredients fresh, and everything is cooked to perfection. I was so proud of the food our guests enjoyed and they're still raving about it. They also offered several choices so our guests were able to choose from chicken, veal marsala, salmon, and a vegetarian option. The wait staff is quick, professional, and pleasant. Amra was absolutely wonderful to work with and provided skillful guidance throughout the process. She was always quick to respond and had excellent recommendations for vendors from flowers to photography. She has done so many weddings and had lots of great ideas and did a wonderful job of setting up all the things we dropped off before the wedding , e.g., photographs, baskets, hurricanes. Planning a wedding is fun but full of details and concerns and there couldn't be a better person to work with than Amra. Even her emails were reassuring and I couldn't help but feel we were in the most capable hands! We had been to a wedding reception here previously and also had talked to 2 other brides about their experience and everyone says the same thing...it's the best! My daughter's and son-in-law's friends were mainly from out of town and were in awe of the setting which has a uniquely Chicago flavor. There are several rooms including a charming patio. The wooden dance floor in the bar area is spacious, the acoustics wonderful. The candlelight effect in the dining area is incomparable! We looked at over 30 venues in 2 states and nothing compared with all that Salvatore's has to offer. One of the guests likened it to a 'fairy tale wedding' and everyone has had glowing things to say. We were beyond thrilled with Salvatore's and will savor the memories for years to come!!!

We had our wedding at Salvatore's and I can't say enough about how amazing they made everything! The food was fantastic and Suzy and Amra were a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend looking into this venue!

Salvatore's is one of the best values in the city without sacrificing quality. The food was amazing, we continually get compliments on how good it was. We did the Extravaganza Package, which is their top package and includes everything from cake to champagne to a 5 hr premium bar. Suzi and Amra are great to work with. They are so laid back, but also super organized. This place runs like a well oiled machine. They do so many weddings and events, they really have it down to a science. The day of the wedding Suzi was attending to our every need. As soon as I walked in, she was getting me a drink, letting me know how everything was going and keeping me up to speed on everything. We dropped off all our things (escort cards, pictures we wanted out, accessories, guest book, etc) a few days before. They set everything up exactly like we wanted it. It looked so beautiful and we had quite a bit of stuff! Afterwards they had everything wrapped, boxed, labeled and ready for us to pick up the next day. They are super responsive and answer the phone when you call. I usually emailed and they got back to me within the hour most times, but definitely same day. The actual space is so beautiful. I really liked the 2 separate rooms because people who wanted to talk could sit in the other room while our band played. Overall, I would highly highly recommend Salvatore's, they went above and beyond for our event and totally exceeded our expectations. *Note I did NOT have my ceremony here, but WeddingWire won't let me just select Reception for some reason

We got married at Salvatore's last December. What a gorgeous place. It was a wonderful place for a wedding. Service and food was spectacular. Suzi and Amra were so great to work with, organized and incredibly responsive. They were flexible with everything. We had so many requests, which they were able to meet and truly made it the best day of our lives. Our guests could not stop raving about how amazing everything was. I would highly recommend Salvatore's to anyone looking for a party or wedding location.

I was married back in October 2009. We absolutely loved everything. The space was great for 185 people. The patio was beautifully decorated with seasonal flowers. We were quite picky with our menu but the chef was very accommodating with all our requests. The day of the event ran so smoothly because of Suzie and Amra. They were both very easy and pleasurable to work with. We never had a stressful moment during the planning process. The staff was also very efficient and friendly. I absolutely loved the space, as did our guests. The food and service were spectacular. I can't wait to attend my girlfriend's wedding there in July.

We can't say enough how amazing and professional Amra and Suzi are. They walked us through this stressful procedure with grace. Suzi was with us the night of our wedding. She kept every event on track and was reassuring and on top of things at any given moment. They were very flexible with us and our plans. The food is amazing! We knew at our tasting we were in for a treat and our guests are still complimenting the food. The valet parking is very reasonable per car which is key. I kept overlooking Salvatores when we were looking at venues but I liked how unique this place was. I'm biased when I say I thought our reception was a blast but if it wasn't for the staff at Salvatores it would not have run as smooth and fun. The price is very reasonable and they are willing to work with each couples needs. Don't skip out on checking out Salvatores! Bernie & Stephanie Conboy

We used Salvatore's only for our wedding reception. I can only rave about the service, professionalism, and quality of this venue. The two wedding coordinators do a great job with answering questions. Virtually every special request I made was met with no problem at all. There is someone present on the day of your event to help coordinate the reception so I had absolutely nothing to worry about other than to enjoy myself. Also, we heard things like "best food ever tasted at a wedding" so that was nice to hear of course. They do MANY weddings here so they have seen it all, plus it is a great value for the city of Chicago. Highly recommended.

Absolutely would recommend Salvatore's! We have gotten nothing but compliments from our guests on the atmosphere, food and overall night. Amra & Suzi were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process of picking food selections, setting up tastings, who to coordinate with for the cake, dropping things off for the wedding, ect. Salvatore's is beautiful & is a really unique place to have both a wedding ceremony & reception at.

Salvatore's is a fabulous place for a wedding reception. It is so out of the ordinary and has a real charm. Instead of typical "wedding food" it's like eating at a 5 star Italian restaurant. . people are still talking about how delicious the food was! The staff was really nice too and made planning the event very easy. I'd really recommend this to anyone looking for a "non-banquet" style/typical wedding. It was awesome!!!

We LOVED Salvatore's, couldn't be happier with the venue! It's already a gorgeous space so we didn't do anything more than alter flowers and centerpieces. The space can fit up to 250, but that would be tight. We had 120 guests and sat comfortably, utilizing all their spaces. We used the main room for the ceremony, then moved the guests to the cocktail room while the dining space was transformed to our reception room. They have a lovely patio out back that's covered and has lanterns and was used as the gathering place for our family photos. Tara and Amra both helped with our wedding and they were so easy to work with that they made our day wonderful and stress-free the day of the wedding! The only thing to keep in mind is that they're SUPER popular for weddings so book early or keep and open mind about your dates. Also, parking there is impossible, you'll have to use their valet. It's a fantastic venue and a great family run business, I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for space in Chicago.

Salvatore's was the perfect location for our ceremony and reception. Beyond our own (extreme) satisfaction, we've received endless comments from almost all of our guests on the venue. The staff could not have been more generous, helpful, kind, and lovely. We are THRILLED for having found them. They're amazing at what they do, truly.
