Everything was absolutely perfect. Jeff did an amazing job at our wedding. He was very attentive with regards to giving us a heads-up on certain songs that were coming up if we were away with photographer. He handled requests very well. The dance floor was always full!

Music by Design was one of the most professional vendors I used during wedding planning. Thier original presentation was professional and you meet the DJ who will actually be doing your wedding. Music by Design was unbelievably quick in all thier responses to my questions. They have an online database that helps with planning and picking music that made the entire process very easy. Our DJ, Tony was awesome! It was very obvious that he is experienced in what he does. The entire reception ran smoothly without any stress or worry on my part because he took care of directing everyone and ensuring everyone is where they needed to be. He was also very attentive to the audience. If he noticed that people were not responding to music selections he changed the song quickly. My husband and I both have very conservative families and we were afraid that no one would dance but the dance floor was filled all night long! The reception was a great time and I attribute it all to our DJ, Tony! Thanks.

I would HIGHLY recommend Music By Design to anyone of my friends/family for their wedding. Working with this company was very easy, user-friendly and their staff is very friendly and professional. Their online site was extremely useful and helpful and I was happy that I could keep track of my own music list and day of schedule. The filler music during dinner and in between our choices was PERFECT, the DJ knew exactly what we liked and guests raved about the music! Jeff Hester, one of their DJs, was wonderful to work with as well. In addition, Jeff did our ceremony music and it was everything I wanted and more! Anything song we wanted, no matter how rare, Music By Design would find it and be sure to have it for us!

Our DJ (Jeff), and Music By Design as a whole were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. We always felt like they really cared about making our day what we wanted. We had several special requests, and they had absolutely no problem meeting all of them. For example, we wanted to play movie, tv, and stage performance instrumental themes which WE even had a hard find tracking down online. We gave them a list of all the songs titles we wanted (approximately 30+) and they got ALL of them. They didn't even bat an eye at the request, just said "no problem, send us the list and we'll get them." The online planner was extremely helpful, and easy to use. We loved that we could provide the number of guests in each age range, and Jeff could build a playlist that would have something for everyone. We never had an empty dance floor, and Jeff kept things moving smoothly the whole night. They advertise a "no cheese" philosophy, and that is absolutely true. We were completely confident in Jeff, and he did not disappoint. We had so many of our guests comment on how great the music was, and what a great DJ we had. Another thing we loved was the "do not play list." We did not want any cheesy songs like the chicken dance, or hokey pokey, so when my mother in law requested a song that bordered on cheesy, Jeff checked with us first to get the ok. I cannot say enough good things about Music By Design, and Jeff. Of course I can't forget to mention that the pricing was great, and it was an extremely good value for the money.

Because we are out of town and planned the wedding long distance I was a bit worried. David made sure every single item was taken care of both before, during and after the ceremony! We really liked David. If we lived there...we'd be friends! :)

We made people sing to make us kiss instead of clinking glasses, David then played the song they sang next- we loved it! He was incredibly professional, attentive, and checked everything with us, but never interrupted. The perfect DJ- you knew he was there and doing a great job, but never consciously took attention away from what was going on.
