Moody Blooms

I had a rather difficult situation with Moody Blooms. As much as I hope this was an isolated incident, I do feel the need to share with other brides. I got married at Aberdeen Manor. My ceremony started at 5:30 and my reception at 6 pm. Moody Blooms was to be doing all the flowers for the wedding party, corsages and boutonnieres for the parents and grandparents, some various arrangements for the ceremony, the cake topper and half of the reception centerpieces. At 4:30 pm, my mother called and asked where they were because we did not have any of our flowers and the room was not decorated yet. Moody Blooms told my mother they thought the wedding was the next day and they would be there ASAP. They arrived at 5:30 causing the wedding the start late and none of the flowers were right (which I didn't care about at this point, I just wanted to get married). I did still give them a 3 on professionalism because we received an apology card as well as a full refund for the flowers they did provide. We only got the cake topper, bridesmaids bouquets, my bouquet, and the groom and groomsmen's boutonnieres. The cake topper and centerpieces were thrown together during the half hour ceremony.

As I was scouting florists for my wedding, I had specific flowers in mind. Every florist I went to dissapointed me greatly with their lack of knowledge and creativeness. Then I went down the street to Moody Blooms and BAM! I finally found someone with knowledge and creativity. I knew immediately they were going to make my flowers perfect. They found me peonies out of season and they were perfect!

They are truly amazing! I had one melt down (minor compared to most) and they happened to be in the line of fired. I wasn't yelling at them, I was just doing last minute freaking out making sure I had everything for the wedding and I called saying I needed more flowers.. then I didn't need them.. and they calmly worked with me. I paid under $500 for the flowers for my wedding.. that included 2 flowers for each of my centerpieces (13 centerpieces total) 3 bm bouquets, 1 moh bouquet, my bouquet, flowers for my cake, and they threw in a free tossing bouquet as well. I go to them for all my flower needs, and so does my mom! They are very nice and willing to work with you!

From the moment we stepped into the shop, I was at ease with this company. Our consultant was knowledgeable and as I described my vision for our flowers, she knew exactly what I had in mind. The day of our wedding came and I was somewhat nervous about what the flowers would look like, as we had only seen the color we had chosen in a magazine. The flowers were gorgeous!!! Everyone ooh-ed and ahh-ed over them. They met and far exceeded my expectations. Moody Blooms does an amazing job!

These flowers were a bargain! They were truly beautiful, and I felt, very customized. The owner was very open to my "idea" of what my flowers would look like when I wasn't even that sure of how it would all come together. I told her the colors, style, and size I envisioned, and she was able to create it even better than I could have imagined! I only ordered my bouquet, flowers for the wedding party, and flowers for family because I had non-floral centerpieces, but she made me feel with the attention she put into the flowers like my order was huge. On our wedding day she delivered the flowers to our church free of charge and took great care with the transportation and presentation of them! I was blown away with the value and quality!
