Memory Makers Entertainment

Memory Makers Entertainment was wonderful on my wedding day. They were on time and very flexible. They played all the songs that we requested as well as so many more. They were very easy to work with and I would recommend them to anyone having an even with a DJ.

I used Memory Makers for my DJ and photobooth. If I was reviewing for thr DJ only I would have given all 5's. Our DJ Juan was amazing. Everything I asked to be played was played and he had a finese with the crowd that kept them dancing all night long. He payed special attention to the pronounciation of my bridal partys names and got all of them right. He was absolutely fabulous. I was however very dissatisfied with my photobooth. I have been to several wedding with a photobooth where you are able to put 4 to 5 people in the booth, this booth however was barely big enough to fit 2 people. Also the photos were in black and white and not in color. I have seen other booths print in both with your names displayed on the boarder, this was not the case with our booth. The pics were small and when the attendent put them in the guest book he cut them with a pair of zig zag scissors that cut off peoples faces even more. Also the pen sucked and kept running out so when my guests signed you can't really read it. Also my quest book had about 15 pages which was not nearly enough for 230 guests. Needless to say don't use them for the booth but the I would reccomend them for the DJ.

Memory Makers did a wonderful job with our wedding! Our DJ, Juan, brought such excitement and enthusiasm to our reception. We received many compliments on him!

Tom was an amazing DJ at our wedding. We had a difficult ceremony due to the Bride coming in on a helicopter and he did everything perfect. During the reception Tom was very professional and nice to all guests. He kept the dance floor packed all night long, speaks very well on the microphone and his set-up was what was promised.

Memory Makers are a group of very professional DJs that really know how to work a crowd! The music selection was top notch, and Dave has tons of energy. We received many compliments on the DJ and Photobooth both! The Photobooth can be expensive, but it was worth it to us. We have an album full of hilarious shots of our guests now. Very glad we went with Memory Makers, and would highly recommend them to any other future bride!

At first I was a little nervous when I had trouble getting a hold of Andre, but once we met up and exchanged numbers and email addresses, everything was wonderful! His energy was great - he's very good at sensing the energy in the room. He had great song choices that the family and friends alike absolutely loved. He threw in some special treats for us for the last dance and encores that made everything so special to us. He got right into the party with us! It was perfect.

Absolutely horrible. So much stress trying to get the owner to even call me back about our wedding which was less than a month away. Up until the WEEK before our wedding, he was unable to remember to have the DJ contact us about the type of music we wanted played. Mind you, we were married in July 2011 and PAID FOR OUR DJ in January 2011. Since we paid in full in January, we were promised a free "name in lights" upgrade. The Name in Lights was not at our wedding. The owner told me the week before he would "work it out" but since he contacted us so late about it, he was under the gun to order it in time. Nothing was said to us about it, we just noticed that the service we were promised was not at the reception. Dave, the owner, will try to sweet talk you into being lenient, but he doesn't get anything done. Absolutely never recommending them! For the record, our DJ Andre was great - dealing with Dave was NOT WORTH IT.

Searching for DJ's for me was the hardest. DJ's give your reception the spark it needs to keep your guest entertained. I chose Memory makers because this was the first company that did showcases. I got to hear live all the DJ's Memory Makers has. I was impressed by 3 of there DJ's. When I booked, Dave was very professional and was easy to talk to. My original DJ was booked but my second choice was cool and I felt comfortable when we were talking. I needed a spanish speaking DJ but out of three Elvin was available. The week before my wedding Dave called and said that Elvin would not be able to DJ, I was like WHAT! I was lucky that his replacement was Andre Acevedo. I could have not been even happier. When I spoke with Andre he knew exactly what I was looking for. On our wedding day he was GREAT! He kept my guest dancing and happy. Andre coordinated with the photographer and videographer to make sure they did not miss a photo moment like our money dance. I would totally recommened Memory Makers for their DJ service as well Freeze Frame Photobooth. Everyone that assisted were awesome as well. Brides you will not be disappointed. Absolutely AMAZING!! Our wedding was about 7 months ago now and people are still talking about how awesome our music was. I've attended several weddings since ours and (despite being biased) agree that these guys are the best. They kept the dance floor completely full all night and were incredibly professional and fun on top of it. Definitely worth their value and I would HIGHLY recommend them!

There are so many variables that can impact different parts of a wedding day: musicians, flowers and attire for the ceremony, food and decorations for the reception dinner. But the success of the last three hours of your wedding will be pretty much determined by one thing: the d.j. (and, maybe, the quality of your bar). A dead dance floor really puts a downer on an otherwise great day. Tom, from Memory Makers, did an excellent job making for an incredible night of dancing. Tom was professional and not over-the-top; his tactful wedding party introductions were a welcome relief in this era of cheesy, arena style reception introductions. Once the dancing started, it didn't stop till the last song, with the dance floor always full. More importantly, Tom was careful to respect our wishes, asking my wife and I permission before playing a song we had marked "no" on the form we filled out before the reception (it was a line dance song that we had not heard of). The song ended up being a big hit. Conversely, he did not burden us with every single questionable decision; for instance, not asking us before playing a song that would normally be completely out of place for a wedding reception - but meaningful to my family, and also a big hit. My wife and I could trust Tom's professional judgment all the way through the night, allowing us to just enjoy the moment.

Listened to exactly what I wanted and were very professional!

Tom did an AMAZING job at our wedding. Our guests, no joke, did not leave the dance floor from 8:30pm- midnight. Everyone has mentioned that they have never been to a wedding where people don't stop dancing (there was never a lull on the floor at all). He was so personable and entertaining and I would recommend him and his company to anyone in need of a DJ for their wedding or party!!!

We used Memory Makers for their photo-booth service (Freeze Frame Photo Booths). We thought this was a fantastic idea for a guest book. Our guests loved the photo booth, too, especially since they got to keep a strip of pictures for themselves. The two attendants that worked the photo booth for the night were great and kept the line moving quickly. We love looking back through the guest book with all the pictures and what people wrote!

We can not say enough about the DJ!!!!!!!! Excellent we are recommending them to everyone would never use another DJ service !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Juan was our DJ and he was awesome. I've never been to a wedding where dancing occurred all evening. We supplied a short play list and told him "to play whatever to get everyone dancing", and he did just that! Great service, he even stopped to ask me several times during dinner if I needed anything. That was not his job, but he went above and beyond the expectations of a DJ.

Andre was AMAZING! He was one of the DJ's that Memory Makers staffs and they try to match you and your music style with the right DJ. He was so fantastic and so was the whole process. We filled out a form with what songs we wanted for specific dances, what songs we NEVER wanted played, and a list of songs we wanted to hear sometime throughout the evening. Our entrance was a little dance to Apache and Andre got everyone on their feet to clap along as we danced. It was one big dance party, which is exactly what we wanted. He took requests, played all the songs we wanted from the list and the ones we would've wanted to hear. He was a great fit for us and I know they'd be able to correctly pair others. They look, sound and act like professionals and are very affordable.
