Lovin Oven Cakery

Um what can I say? Our cupcakes were DELICIOUS and kept for about a week afterwards. THey did everything we asked!

Looked great and tasted better. They nailed it and all we had to do was come and taste it, pick the flavors and design. Rest was all coordinated with our wedding locations. The easiest vendor to work with ever.

We had a red velvet 3 layer with cream cheese in the middle with buttercream icing on our wedding cakes. It was the BEST! Many bakeries only want to do red velvet cupcakes, but Lovin Ovens was amazing, the other places we tried were ok,but overly sweet frosting or dry cake. I have also tried other things from their bakery and it is always the best.

We used Lovin Oven Cakery for our wedding cake. The wedding coordinator is so responsive and very easy to work with. We were amazed by the selection and quality of the cakes. Our cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we asked for. I would highly recommend them!

The cake looked awesome and fit in with my theme. It was delicious!!

I had a deal with the hotel I booked with, Doubletree, and my cake was included in the price per person we paid at the venue. But I had the option of going to Lovin' Oven or the Oak Mill Bakery. I called both to try and make appointments to come in for a tasting and Oak Mill couldn't see me for almost 2 months. Lovin' Oven was able to accommodate me much quicker. Also- Oak Mill said they would charge me for a 4-person tasting and Lovin' Ovens was free- we had 5 people. Once there it was easy to see they were going to be our choice, even without going to Oak Mill. The cake choices were moist and delicious, the fillings were very tasty, and the options for what I wanted were basically endless. Because of the size of my wedding I was in between a 3 tier and a 4 tier and they simply said, do the 4-tier, it doesn't cost you anything and then you're sure to have enough cake. They had options of shape, frosting style, decorations, etc. They could do something from their book or could use a picture you had for inspiration. We basically created my cake right there using a mixture of different pictures of cakes I liked. It was so easy and it turned out so beautiful!The day after the wedding I had to ask around to make sure both styles of cake- we had chosen a chocolate for half and a vanilla for the other half- were really served because I couldn't ever remember seeing the chocolate. It disappeared so fast! Everyone I spoke with said the cake was delicious! I know I loved it! In addition- I have friends and family who live in the area and go to Lovin' Oven for all their cake needs, Birthday or whatever else. Everyone I know loves Lovin' Oven.

Our cake was part of our wedding package so as far as the price goes - we are unsure. The cake tasted so great and looked even better! We had 4 layers - we had each of the 3 layers the day of the wedding. It was so moist and delicious. The design was awesome! We had a theme throughout the wedding and brought in color and design samples and pretty much told the decorators to just use their imagination - it turned out AMAZING! They did such a great job making it really fit with our whole wedding. They were so laid back and easy to work with! Thank you!

Lovin Oven Cakery provided the cake and cupcakes at my daughter’s summer wedding. The top tier wedding cake looked amazing and was just what the bride/groom had envisioned. The cupcake colors coordinated perfectly with the wedding theme colors. And best of all, everything was delectable! Best cake I ever had! Fortunately, there were leftover cake and cupcakes so we could eat more the next day. The reception was held at Kemper Lakes Golf Club. Kemper and Lovin Oven work together to create your perfect wedding cake(s). The Kemper coordinator discussed cake designs and colors with the bride/groom and we had the cake tasting at Kemper. Everything was coordinated perfectly. Thank you Lovin Oven for the best wedding cake and cupcakes!

We love this bakery. The cakes, desserts, and all items are always delicious. Our only draw back was that our tasting cake was a little stale. Our suggestion would be to find out when their cakes are made for tastings and plan your meeting accordingly. We went with our gut of red velvet and cream cheese and were completely satisfied on wedding day, and the week following!

Our wedding cake was amazing! Lovin Oven did a great job with the design that my husband and I wanted and the cake tasted so good! I also had a Blackhawks cake made for my husband and it was perfect. Our wedding party loved the banana fudge cake. I highly recommend Lovin Oven.

Lovin Oven did our rehearsal dinner & wedding cake and cookie favors for our guests, and they did an amazing job on everything! We got a cake 'free' with our wedding vendor, went there for the tasting, were NOT impressed, and then decided to pay the upcharge for Lovin Oven. It was totally worth it! They were very patient in working with us and the cake/s looked and tasted fantastic. Lots of compliments on the cakes and cookie favors as well. So glad we entrusted Lovin Oven with such a special day - we highly recommend them for ANY occasion!

Our wedding cake was delicious, but we had a mixed experience. We ordered a red velvet cake with cream cheese filling, but nobody could tell it was cream cheese because the buttercream/fondant outer layer was overpowering. We actually thought the cake had been made incorrectly. The scrolling on our cake was also not what we had asked for. After bringing this to Lovin Oven's attention, they asked for our top tier to examine it and compensated us in return. They were sincerely apologetic and worked hard to rectify the situation. They said they would talk to their designer about the scrolling and would look at their cream cheese recipe. We initially rated them as a 1 based on our disappointment with the filling, but their customer service in solving the issue was outstanding and the cake was still amazing.

After Having a bad experience at another bankery Lovin Oven took the cake. They made the experience amazing from the tasting and helping design the cake and providing a picture of how it would look. They were free flexable and helpful and wanted to make sure everything was perfect for our wedding day. The price was very affordable and worth every penny. The day of the wedding everyone ate the cake and even tried to get seconds. The cake was amazing! I had two pieces the day of our wedding day. They also did our favors which were cookies with a picture log of cubs and sox. The cookies were also delicisous and the picture was exactly what we wanted.

As a second-time older bride with a small wedding on a wintery Sunday, I wanted something unique, victorian, classy and classic, and Lovin Oven designed and delivered a spectacular cake, and a delicious sweets table! Yum!

Our cake was amazing! It was beautiful and tasted delicious. We had red velvet with french silk filling and it was really good. They designed the cake that we wanted down to the smallest detail. YUM!

Sara was really nice to work with. They were willing to create the design we had in mind for our cake and it turned out beautiful. Everyone said how much they enjoyed the cake! I had an issue with the filling but Sara was quick to address my concerns and offer a remedy.

Lovin Oven makes wonderful cakes and the customer service was amazing. We live out of town so had to do much of our planning via email but Sara was very accomodating, friendly and flexible. When we were in town, we got to try some of their tasty options. They handled our cake, grooms cake and extra chocolate chip cookies I wanted without any problems or complications. Wonderful! :-)

Gorgeous decorating - we added colors and they were perfect. We also purchased a groom's cake which they designed and decorated to mirror Busch Stadium - WOW - what an great job.

I had used them for my shower. They even allowed a cake testing! The princess cake I had made with marble and fudge filling was to die for. I was so impressed. We bought their red velvet and regular cupcakes while were there and fell in love. I know stop in regularly for their treats. They do have a whole wedding side as well. But I already had that booked. I really do recommend them!
