We loved Laurie's website the first time we saw it. When I spoke to Laurie by phone I knew she was perfect. She exceeded our expectations on our wedding day. If you want a super talented, down to earth, warm and fun photographer, Laurie is it! She captured moments no other photographer would have gotten. The pictures we have are priceless, and couldn't be more pleased with them! I hate being in pictures and Laurie actually made our photos fun! You can sense her warmth through her photographs. Look at her website and you will see. She was on time, and her and her assistant photographer worked so hard at our wedding.... they took so many pictures, and they had the right amount of interaction.... never too much or too little, second photographer were great! Laurie is an amazing photographer. She takes beautiful pictures and has an impressive ability to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera. In addition to her photography skills, she is fantastically reliable. In the whole wedding planning process, I got extremely frustrated dealing with the unexpected. With Laurie, there were no surprises. The price was the price, she showed up when she said she was going to, she took the pictures we asked for, and she was bright and cheerful the whole time. I recommend Laurie very highly. While the photographer doesn't make a huge impact on how the wedding and the reception go, you spend a lot of time with her and she's the one you rely to make you look good long after you are husband and wife. I had fun with Laurie and I will be so proud to show off the pictures she took for many years to come.

I wish I could give Laurie Peacock more than 5 stars. She was absolutely wonderful to work with! From our engagment pictures, to our wedding and all of the planning in between, Laurie was a joy to have around. Our engagement pictures and wedding pictures are incredibly beautiful and really could not have captured the spirit of our relationship and the excitement of our wedding day any better! I have already recommended Laurie to friends of mine, and based on seeing my pictures they have been quick to book Laurie for their weddings as well. Not only is she incredibly talented and dedicated to capturing each moment perfectly, but her energy and excitement are truly infectious. Our wedding party had so much fun taking pictures with her...even the groomsmen!Her style definitely falls into the "photojournalism" category, but she was also more than happy to do the necessary "formal" shots with the family and the wedding party. But we never felt like we had to be posed. She just knew how to capture the natural emotion and essence of each setting. It was great!Her prices are very reasonable compared to some of the other photography websites I visited when I began to plan my wedding. All in all, I just can't say enough good things about my experience with Laurie Peacock. Great photographer, great person, fun to have around, reliable, professional, reasonably priced, beautiful pictures...I don't see how you could go wrong hiring her for your event!

Laurie is FANTASTIC to work with! She is fun, and yet very professional. Her work is awesome, and she is super responsive! My husband and I had a great time working with her, and would recommend Laurie to anyone!!!

Laurie and her assistant were amazing!! She worked well with everybody and directed without ever being intrusive. Laurie allowed my husband and I to be ourselves and captured the most gorgeous moments! I can't say enough nice things about the quality of her work, her wonderful personality, her impecable taste and fantastic assistant! She was on time and worked incredibly hard. And the photos are so vivid!! I already know people who liked Laurie and her photos so much after our wedding, they are using her too!! You can't go wrong having Laurie Peacock working your event!! We were very very lucky to have found Laurie when she responded to an ad of ours on the internet. From the very beginning, she was extremely professional and responded to emails quickly and efficiently. When we finally met her in person for the engagement shoot, we realized that not only is she super talented in photojournalism, her personality was perfect for the job. We clicked with her immediately, and she made us (especially my shyish fiance who was quite dubious on the whole idea of an engagement shoot) very comfortable. We joked around and laughed and had a lot of fun. We are just starting to get wedding photos back from her, and they are AMAZING, beautiful and captured the essence of our wedding and how much fun everyone was having. We are so happy we hired Laurie, who was not only wonderful to work with, but will give us wedding photos to last a life time.

Laurie is an absolute sweet heart. We clicked with her right away and after a fab engagement session (which she includes with all of her wedding packages) we knew we had made a great decision. Laurie was amazing during the wedding. My husband HATES taking pictures and she was so efficient and unobtrusive that he didn't get annoyed in the least. We were able to spend the majority of our time with our guests while still getting fabulous pics. I am blown away by our photos. Laurie was able to capture our happiness and excitement. I love photojournalism, but I sometimes feel that photographers get carried away with the artistry of the shot and forget about the emotion. Laurie captures the emotion while still creating gorgeous shots.

Laurie was absolutely fabulous to work with. We wanted someone with a photojournalistic style and were choosing between her, a big name company, and another professional photography studio that had been in the business for 10 years. We went with Laurie because her photographs showed her eye for detail and colors, and the quality in her photos. We also liked the idea of meeting the person who was going to actually shoot the wedding right from day one. Laurie was personable, friendly, and I could tell she was eager and excited to do a good job for us. We are so glad she won us over because I can say that this was the best money we spent for our wedding. We also did an engagement shoot with her, and she knew how to put us at ease in front of the camera. On the wedding day, she was easy-going and blended in, barely noticeable. She also had an amazing turn-around time with getting pictures to us despite shooting another wedding a day after, and then being in her own sister's wedding the weekend after ours. Every time I look at the photos, I get a huge smile on my face, and our family and guests have not stopped complimenting on what a great job she did. If you go with Laurie, you will not only love the photos she takes for you, but you'll love working with her too.

I had a wonderful time with Laurie on our wedding day. I first saw Laurie's posting on Craigslist and then I visited her website. I really liked her portfolios and I also learned a little bit about her photographic approach through her blog entries. I decided that Laurie's natural photo journalistic approach is what I was looking for.Laurie was very attentive and accommodating before and on the big day. She wanted to know the things we considered important so she could make sure she capture them. She was also very friendly and very good at making my husband and I feel comfortable for the photos. We are incredible happy with the resulting photos. And this is because Laurie takes beautiful photos and also because I feel that they really reflect who we are.
