I gave a star for quality of service because of my initial consultant. She was fabulous and very helpful. However, after I purchased my gown the service was horrible. I purchased my wedding gown and my bridesmaids dresses from there. My bridal gown was supposed to be in six months after I purchased my dress which should have been around July. I waited till the end of July to call. No one called me back. I called everyday for about 3 weeks and left a message. Finally, I had to threaten the secretary that I would come in the following day and sit there and tell all their clients not to purchase from them unless I heard back from someone that day. The owner called me that night and left a message about my bridesmaid dresses. Which is funny because earlier that day someone called me back and said that it was too soon to know when they would be in. Somehow the owner said they would be in the beginning of September. I called her back to tell her I was asking about my bridal gown. She said she was sorry thats not what the message said. Every time I left a message they asked the designer's name and who my consultant was. My designer doesn't make bridesmaid dresses. She promised to call back the following day. She didn't. I had to again stalk the store with calls to get a response. She said end of October. My bridesmaid dresses came in that week. I went with one of my bridesmaids to pick up her dress and to complain. Miraculously, my dress was there. Which makes me wonder how long it was there for? I said I wanted the owner to call me, and she never did. It seems to me that once you spend your money there they don't really care for you anymore. They also seem very disorganized. It was stress I didn't need as a bride. While I was there, another group was also there complaining about how late their dresses came in and how they were going to get them fitted, as the wedding was 3 days away. I ended up buying my veils, rehearsal dress, and flower girl dresses from other vendors. I would NEVER recommend that anyone go there. The dresses and prices you can find somewhere else.

I never leave reviews; however, making it a POINT to leave a review for Eva’s Bridal of Orland Park! BRIDE PLEASE BEWARE--- I ordered my Maggie Sottero dress in FEB. for my wedding 11 months away, I originally was told 4 months to expect the dress and will have latest July. I called in July, no dress, and it should be in August now. August came and went; I called again and they told me there is a ‘shortage overseas of labor’ and dress is now promised in Sept. I call again in Sept. to make sure and had to wait for a call back, no call back was ever made. Again, I call a week later to follow up on the last phone call and the status of my dress since it was going to be in the beginning of Sept., the owner tells me it will be here end of September now that they don’t like to hold inventory there. WHAT THE HECK!? I called END OF SEPT and speak with Hela (the owner), I was screened by the receptionist and she was with a client and will call me back, 2 hours go by and no call back!!- I call to speak with her again using a false name and put through right away- unbelievable! Let her know my frustrations and I haven’t received communication, had 3 promised shipment dates, numerous phone calls I HAD to make. She pointed the finger saying no one ever promised me 3 different shipment dates, I conveyed I ordered my dress over 8 months ago, where the F is it?? She said she will look into and when I asked for all this frustration is there anything that is going to be done? Her exact words- “Well what do you want? If you don’t get your dress I’ll give you your money back!”.. Worst thing you can say to bride who has been waiting on her Maggie dress for over 8 months with no time to get another Maggie made from elsewhere!! I told her to read her reviews so many other brides had the same issue as me. And the most frustrating part of my wedding planning is waiting for my dress, she had no remorse! She said she will call me tomorrow and let me know where it’s at it shows shipped in her system and Maggie was closed for the day to verify. The next day I AGAIN called her and she told me it will be here LATEST next week, which is beginning of October! I went on FB and put a message out there to Maggie Sottero, had a response back within the hour someone would contact me. Spoke with customer care at Maggie and she said dress was dock (fww, some relief) if I don’t hear back from Eva’s by next week Wednesday to call MS back. Here we are WED no call at all from Eva’s!! Called the manufacture back she had to look me up again and said I have no idea why they haven’t contacted you, I will call them and call you back. It will be there tomorrow.. well FINALLY got a call back from Eva’s dress was in. They made sure to pound into my head at least 3 times the balance needs to be paid in CASH only, do you really wonder why? AWFUL Communication AWFUL Customer Service.. The worst part of my wedding planning is this place!

I ordered my dress a rush order... they told me it would be there in July & then August & then the middle of August... finally the end of August it was there. However I had to call every week during August & somehow it was there the week before... but they forgot to tell me. (Or couldn't find it - they couldn't agree). I'm not sure if this was their fault or the manufacturer... but the communication was horrible.The alterations were fine - they rushed that part for me so I could have the dress in time for my wedding in the middle of Sept.

The only good thing I can say about this store is that they have a beautiful selection. Other than that, their customer service SUCKS! I personally did not have an issue with my dress, but I also ordered mine 10 mos before my wedding. If you want your dress from there, you have to do this b/c there are horrible reviews regarding when they get their shipments in. On average the dresses came 2 wks to 4 wks after they estimated they would. I understand this and won't count it against them. But their front desk staff is so rude and the receptionist for the alterations is an idiot. I heard wonderful things about their alterations dept but she actually screwed up on my alterations and it had to be redone. I just wouldn't go there again. Big regret...Oh! And don't get your veil from there or any other bridal shop. Go on Etsy. Much cheaper

I got my dress from Eva's because they carried the designer I was looking for. I knew what dresses I wanted to try on and the selection process went pretty smoothly. However, when my girls went to try on bridesmaid dresses, they couldn't find one of the dresses we were looking for. My fittings went pretty smoothly although my bustle ended up breaking in 3 different places until eventually my entire train fell down and I had to just deal with it during dancing. My bridesmaids had a few issues with alterations including one who after 3 attempts, had a dress that still didn't fit quite right. The girls there were very friendly on most occasions though.

The picking of the dress was the only time I had any help. My overall expierence was HORRIBLE!! It took over a year to get my dress in that I made DRASTIC changes to. Then when I called them a number of times to find out where my dress was, they said they would call me back. They never call back, I ALWAYS had to call them. Then they kept telling me my dress was in California and it would be here in a week. 3 weeks later it finally arrived. The dress was perfect but I would NEVER deal with them again, nor are any of my girlfriends. Plus, their store needs some serious updating.

"F" That's the rating that Eva's has with the Better Business Bureau. So why are they still in business? I suppose because unsuspecting brides like me don't know this!Ordering my dress from Eva's was the worst experience of my entire wedding. When I went in to try on the dress everyone was nice and helpful. When I placed the order I was told to allow 18 weeks to receive the dress. 22 weeks later I called, (for the first time), to find out the ETA on the gown. The lady I spoke with was rude but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and figured she was having a bad day. She promised me a call back the next day after they "contacted the manufacturer". Well, that call never came...neither did all the other return calls I was promised. I couldn't get a simple phone call, let alone a straight answer about my dress.It was so bad, we had to threaten to file a report with the Attorney General for deceptive business practices just to get the owner's attention & possibly get an answer. She came out of the back room to inform us that the dress had been shipped and was on it's way! Yay! Well, when asked for the shipping number & name of the company shipping it she could not produce either & disappeared for about ten more minutes. She reappeared and claimed she made a mistake and the dress would be shipped the following day...they will say anything just to shut you up & get rid of you. The only nice thing I can say is that when the dress finally did arrive it was the correct style and size I ordered.When I went to pick it up none of the associates assisted me in trying it on. When asked if I was leaving it there for alterations I didn't walk--I RAN out of there with the dress. After all the lies and aggravation did they honestly believe I would risk leaving my dress there?! Also, FYI: When you pick up your dress the remaining balance must be paid in CASH only, even though it does not state that anywhere on the Final Bill of Sale. Unless you want the stress, aggravation and ambivalence during the most important time of your life I'd steer clear of Eva's.

I had such a wonderful experience at Eva's of Orland Park. Hala and her staff were incredible! We found both my wedding dress (Casablanca) and my mom's dress (Bill Levkoff) after going to several other bridal salons. Leah and Linda helped us go through dozens of gowns - and were incredibly patient going back and forth getting gowns to try on. When the "one" was found, we were then in the capable hands of Kay in the alterations department. I ended up having three fittings because of significant weight loss, but in the end, the dress fit beautifully and was absolutely perfect. She even put tiny little beads on the back of my dress to help my Maid of Honor figure out where to put the loops for the bustle of my dress. Little touches like that show their expertise and attention to detail! My dress was ordered in December for an October wedding and arrived in June - several weeks early! Please do stop here and let the ladies help you find a dress that will make your husband to be's heart skip a beat! :)

My consultant Judy was very nice to me. It was a huge mistake with one my bridesmaid dresses and it didnt take a lot to get it fixed but it was a problem. It took a long time to get the dresses back in, where other locations is not that long. Alterations Kay was very nice and she did a great job on my dress and with all the other drama with her made everything better.

Eva's did a great job in providing my dress. I only bought my wedding dress from then and did not have my bridal party there. They listened to what type of dress I wanted and brought me a very nice variety until I found the one I wanted. It only cost about 880 dollars and everyone at my wedding thought my dress was much more expensive than that. I ordered my dress in late October and received it in mid April. My wedding was May 15. So the only bad thing was that when I tried to contact about my dress there was a little confusion and then finally got back to me a few days later to say my dress arrived. Other than that the seamstress did a wonderful job and everyone thought I looked beautiful which is the most important part.

I used Evas in Orland becuase they are close to where I live. I did find very beautiful dresses in my price range.The sales ladies were nice & helpful.They were flexible in getting my dress altered in the time I needed - so that was a bonus.I was pleased with how my dress looked for the day of my wedding.

Linda, my bridal consultant, was very patient as I really was not sure what kind of dress I wanted. It is a full service salon so they bring dresses to you that they think you will like based on what you are looking for. She brought out what seemed like hundreds dresses, her patience never faltering.When you purchase the dress, they charged alterations at the same time. When my dress finally came in, we had to pay the remainder of the balance before I could even look at my dress. They charged the full amount of alterations not even knowing what alterations I would need saying that money would be refunded if my needed alterations were less than what was charged.Once my final fitting had been completed and I was set to take the dress home, they misplaced my dress initially. I guess they were trying to rattle the bride just days before the wedding. Then when they located my dress, they were going to send me out with the dress in just a clear lightweight plastic bag. When I asked for a heavier plastic garment bag, they said they did not have one. When I put up a fuss that the groom would see the dress, they somehow managed to find one for me. All in all, my dress was beautiful and I did feel like a princess on my wedding day. My bridal consultant and seamstress were excellent, but the rest of the office staff brings my overall rating down substantially.

Eva's Bridal was not my favorite place. The attendant was very pushy for a sale, that was a big turn off. No huge discount for lots of bridesmaid dresses.

After having a not so great experience at Eva's in Oak Lawn, I ventured over to Orland Park and was much, much happier with the service I received and the price I got on my dress. It was even cheaper than anywhere I could find it online. The dress came in on time without any issues and Leah was friendly and easy to work with. Alterations were a bit pricey for what I needed done though, so I took the dress elsewhere to have them completed (and I am glad I did seeing as how this is where most of the bad reviews on this place tend to stem from).

I had an overall positive experience. I loved my dress! The alterations were high priced, so I went elsewhere. She brought down the price of my dress, but I probably could have found a better deal on it. Overall I had a good experience.

I had picked out my dress a year before the wedding. they said it would ship from Spain so i wouldn't not see it till April or may. they gave me an earlier wedding date on the order slip then what my real wedding day was by 3 months.i found this great dress I was about 180 pounds.I had to have some surgery and i have my mouth wired shut for 9 weeks. i order side 16 dress. they had to take it in to size 10-12i was 140 when they had me come in for my first fitting.they did such a great jobSince the dress had to be torn apart and put back they made sure i was happy with everything.from the smallest details.they let me come back every time i felt like something was not rightthey were fantastic. i have read all the bad reviews but they really made me feel like a princess in that dress.
