After having a not so great experience at Eva's in Oak Lawn, I ventured over to Orland Park and was much, much happier with the service I received and the price I got on my dress. It was even cheaper than anywhere I could find it online. The dress came in on time without any issues and Leah was friendly and easy to work with. Alterations were a bit pricey for what I needed done though, so I took the dress elsewhere to have them completed (and I am glad I did seeing as how this is where most of the bad reviews on this place tend to stem from).

I had picked out my dress a year before the wedding. they said it would ship from Spain so i wouldn't not see it till April or may. they gave me an earlier wedding date on the order slip then what my real wedding day was by 3 months.i found this great dress I was about 180 pounds.I had to have some surgery and i have my mouth wired shut for 9 weeks. i order side 16 dress. they had to take it in to size 10-12i was 140 when they had me come in for my first fitting.they did such a great jobSince the dress had to be torn apart and put back they made sure i was happy with everything.from the smallest details.they let me come back every time i felt like something was not rightthey were fantastic. i have read all the bad reviews but they really made me feel like a princess in that dress.

I absolutely loved my dress and my bridesmaid dresses. The dress I picked out was in a catalog and when I went there, they did not have it in stock. My sales lady knew I absolutely loved the dress and contacted the manufacturer. They said it was a special dress that was only seen in their trunk shows which travel across the country. She was able to get the dress for a 2 week viewing for me! 15 days later, I had the sample of my wedding dress in the store! Everything went perfect with them and I could not ask for anything better! All the dresses came in when they said they would, the sizing was great and we all looked wonderful!!!

I had ordered a dress online. Huge mistake. We had called another Bridal Shop which we had to make an appt. To kill time we swung into Eva's on the way. They were able to take care of me. I tried on about 3 dresses and found the one I loved. It was beautiful. It was off the rack so they knocked a couple hundred off the price which was made up in alterations. Under $1000.00 Beautiful dress. I was travelling so they wrapped it up very well for me. Next to no wrinkles when we reached our destination. Told us how to shower steam the wrinkles right out. Very satisfied.

I ordered my wedding dress and tiara from Eva's. Everything went smoothly with my Watters dress. I had moved to colorado, so my dress was shipped out to colorado. It only took about two months for me to get the dress. After not getting my tiara for several months, I called to check my order. I was told that it came with my dress, and I had to explain that it did not. Eva's had to re-order it (or order it for the first time?).

First dress I tried on was the one. I showed my sales attendant different pictures of gowns. I wasn't sure what would look right on me. You know how we brides get self conscious because we want to look our best. I'm a curvy woman and wasn't happy with how other dresses looked on me in previous shops. She picked a silhouette that fit me right on. She was very helpful and professional. I would recommend this store to anyone, not just for bridal gowns. My only issue was that the tailoring was a bit pricey.

Eva's did a great job in providing my dress. I only bought my wedding dress from then and did not have my bridal party there. They listened to what type of dress I wanted and brought me a very nice variety until I found the one I wanted. It only cost about 880 dollars and everyone at my wedding thought my dress was much more expensive than that. I ordered my dress in late October and received it in mid April. My wedding was May 15. So the only bad thing was that when I tried to contact about my dress there was a little confusion and then finally got back to me a few days later to say my dress arrived. Other than that the seamstress did a wonderful job and everyone thought I looked beautiful which is the most important part.

Price was good. Loved my dress. Could of been more customer friendly

I asked them for a specific style for my wedding dress and they did provide me with that princess diana kind dress I always wanted.

I had an overall positive experience. I loved my dress! The alterations were high priced, so I went elsewhere. She brought down the price of my dress, but I probably could have found a better deal on it. Overall I had a good experience.

Eva's was the most professional dress vendor that had the dress i was looking for. It was a little more expensive than I had hoped, and took longer than planned, but their knowledge and enthusiasm made up for it. I also got all of my bridesmaids dresses here.

They were a little pricier than some other stores,but they have great dresses and excellend service. Their seamstresses are also excellent. I got my wedding dress, 2 flower girl dresses, and 12 bridesmaid dresses

Linda, my bridal consultant, was very patient as I really was not sure what kind of dress I wanted. It is a full service salon so they bring dresses to you that they think you will like based on what you are looking for. She brought out what seemed like hundreds dresses, her patience never faltering.When you purchase the dress, they charged alterations at the same time. When my dress finally came in, we had to pay the remainder of the balance before I could even look at my dress. They charged the full amount of alterations not even knowing what alterations I would need saying that money would be refunded if my needed alterations were less than what was charged.Once my final fitting had been completed and I was set to take the dress home, they misplaced my dress initially. I guess they were trying to rattle the bride just days before the wedding. Then when they located my dress, they were going to send me out with the dress in just a clear lightweight plastic bag. When I asked for a heavier plastic garment bag, they said they did not have one. When I put up a fuss that the groom would see the dress, they somehow managed to find one for me. All in all, my dress was beautiful and I did feel like a princess on my wedding day. My bridal consultant and seamstress were excellent, but the rest of the office staff brings my overall rating down substantially.

They are a tiny little shop that I otherwise would probably have never stepped foot in if I judged by the outside. I received an advertisement for a trunk show there, so I took the 1 hour drive to get down there because none of the nearby salons had "that" dress. The workers were kind and asked what type of dress I was looking for, and what I wasn't looking for. I chose a few for myself, and every single dress has this great full quality about them. I was just about to give up until the worker said she had a few dresses she'd like me to try on, and there may be a few things I don't like about it, but she'd like to see how they looked on me. So, I went ahead and tried them on, and there it was! That magical moment, and I knew. My sister was kind enough to haggle a lot for me, and we got it into a price range that I could barely afford. (My sister is a beast with these things) They were not happy with us, but I'm still extremely happy I got the dress. :)

I used Evas in Orland becuase they are close to where I live. I did find very beautiful dresses in my price range.The sales ladies were nice & helpful.They were flexible in getting my dress altered in the time I needed - so that was a bonus.I was pleased with how my dress looked for the day of my wedding.

The only reason I chose this particular store was because they had a sample of the dress I really wanted, so I could try it on. Their prices were also better than most other stores I've been to, although that wasn't my primary concern.They do let you take your time and make sure you find the perfect dress and the ordering process was easy. However, once the dress came, I was a bit disappointed, since they didn't make it hollow to hem (the design on the dress went all the way down, though it was way too long for me and I had to have it shortened) and it was a bit tight on the top. I did do my alterations somewhere else because of that. The seamstess there had to cut through part of the design on my dress to make it shorter, but it ended up looking really nice anyway.My advice is go there to try dresses, as they have great selection, but I would order your dress someplace else.

The lady at the shop stayed with me until I found the perfect dress. We were there until almost 10 at night. My dress bottom did come in wrong not sure whos at fault for that. Also they claimed to have called me and said my dress was in but I never had recieved a phone call. A bit overpriced.

The dresses there are wonderful and they are willing to adjust prices to fit your budget. I would recomend that you get your dress altered elsewhere. They were a nightmare. They didn't alter my dress completely so I kept stepping on teh front of my dress all night which caused the front hem to come undone.
