Very personalized service. Felt like they really knew me and my wedding party and our likes and dislikes.

After trying on dresses all over the North Shore, I can tell you: Don't waste your time anywhere else. Go to Doris. The shop is by appointment only, so they really focus on you and what you want when you come in. Some brides like to dig through piles of dresses in plastic bags - don't! At Doris, you can bring in pictures or describe what you like and they will bring the right dress to you.My dress required quite a bit of alteration, and everything was done perfectly. The dress fit like a glove and they even sewed pockets into the sides of my dress at my request.

I did not have the best experience here. It was disappointing, because the online reviews were glowing.I did not like a single dress that I tried on, I don't think that the consultant "got me." I kinda got the feeling that this store caters to the disposable income bride, with a $3000 dress budget.

They offered excellent selection, good values, excellent service, very accomodating.

I purchased my wedding gown from Doris's Bridal. The staff was very friendly, make you feel like your talking to friends! Annette was amazing and made my dress everything I could ask for!

Highly, highly recommend Doris. My dress was a beautiful Pronovias gown, but since I am petite I was concerned that the length of the skirt when shortened would not be quite right. Annette at Doris made sure the dress fit perfectly and it was the most comfortable formal dress I've ever put on. They specially create a bustle that bustled under to create a perfect bell and it took my bridesmaids less than a minute to do. In addition, they were able to do everything in just two fittings since I lived out of town. Great please - very personal, professional and you don't feel like they are doing you a favor working with you, which I found to be the case in some downtown Chicago salons.

Doris Bridal had a wide selection of dresses at reasonable price ranges. On my initial visit, the girl who worked with me really listened to the style of dress that I was describing and had no problem at all if I told her I didn't like something she brought. She just kept working to find the right dress and we did! The alterations were perfect and done on time with no issues. They were even able to change the head piece on my mom's veil, so I could wear it. I would highly recommend Doris Bridal for your dress needs.

I was so happy to be told to visit Doris Bridal! The staff were very friendly and helpful. They listened to my needs and wants and helped out a great deal! On busy days, it is hectic in there as the women often have more than one bride to help. I had a great experience and found my dress there!

We purchased my daughter's wedding gown, seven bridesmaids dresses, my dress and pocket squares from Doris. My daughter is living out-of-state and they were very accomodating in terms of fittings. They completed alterations on three dresses during the week before the wedding and didn't complain one bit! During most of the process of selecting a wedding gown, my daughter and I tended to see the same dresses over and over again. The selection at Doris included many unique gowns. My very petite daughter had her heart set on a ball gown, most of which tended to swallow her up. Annette at Doris found the perfect dress that met my daughter's vision and looked stunning on her. I knew she'd found the dress when I heard her gasp from the fitting room! I suspect that, if we'd looked, we may have found the gown for less than we paid for it at Doris but the wonderful service more than made up for the lack of discounting. I wanted my daughter to feel like a princess and Doris helped make that happen. I would highly recommend them.

Doris Bridal is outstanding and I urge anyone in the Chicago area who is looking for their dream wedding dress to go there!

As an OOT bride, it was important to me that I use a dress shop that has personalized service. I bought my dress approximately 1 year before the wedding. It arrived 3 weeks before the estimated date and the shop called me to find out when I wanted to come in to see it.I had two dress fittings (8 weeks & 6 weeks before the wedding) to coordinate with my travel schedule. The week of my wedding, I went back for one last try and it was perfect! Nothing left to change, besides a nice pressing :)I was very happy to work with Annette. She knew who I was when I called and the service there was great. I would recommend to take a look there. It may be a bit further to drive, but worth the trip!

Doris Bridal Boutique was amazing! I got a beautiful dress, that they altered beautifully. They helped me find something very flattering that made me feel beautiful, but kept me modest. The only issue I had at all (and barely an issue), was that my appointments were interrupted a few times to help brides who came in without notice. This may be normal in the industry, I don't know.They have a great selection of the classiest dresses, and they want you to look beautiful, not just sell you a dress.

My dress was beautiful, unique and exactly what I wanted! The women at Doris' Bridal, especially Annette, were wonderfully talented. They made my dress fit perfectly and every time I walked into the store they treated me like a princess. It was great working with them. My mom bought her dress there too.
