Diamond Nexus

I have the Luna solitaire as my engagement ring and I also have the Honey earrings. I have not had any problems with my ring and it is BEAUTIFUL! My fiance got this ring for under $1000 and if we had gotten a mined diamond ring of the same size (1.5 carat) and excellent cut, clarity, and color; the ring would be at least $15,000 and as a budget conscious girl, I don't even plan on spending that on the whole wedding. The shipping was fast (I live in Japan and have everything shipped to FPO) and emails were received throughout the order and shipping process. I have picked out a DNL wedding band and a right hand ring as well. I would recommend them to anyone!

DNL claims to have "real" man-made diamonds, but the stones they sell look just awful after a day of wearing them.... I think they're just a CZ.. which I'd be fine with, if I didn't pay so much. From reading their site and viewing their videos I expected so much more. I'm very disappointed.

I purchased a loose stone from Diamond Nexus. The material that was made from was not durable at all. The gemstone was chipped within a year. Called customer service and they do not backup their own products. Overall poor customer service and the associate who assisted me had an attitude and hung up on me. Regret ever doing business with them. I guess you get what you paid for. I did some research, if you ever want something closest to a diamond, go for Moissanite its is definitely harder than a diamond nexus gemstone. Diamond Nexus gemstones are recognized as CZ in the diamond world, so its only as hard as a CZ. DON'T BE FOOLED......be smart, know what your getting into before wasting hundreds of dollars.

I saddens me that some people write such cruel reviews about Diamond Nexus. I am in fact literally in love with this company. Like others I was a bit skeptical at first, because I was not educated about Diamond Nexus and it's goals as a company. But, I have put in a lot of time into doing research on Diamond Nexus. And now, like mentioned before hand I am truly in love with Diamond Nexus! I would rather have a Diamond Nexus diamond rather than a natural diamond mined from the Earth. With Diamond Nexus I will not have to feel the guilt of knowing that part of our precious planet was destroyed just so I can have my dream ring. I love the fact that these are man-made and that no one had to die in order for me to receive my engagement ring. I can look at my ring and 'ohhh and ahh' at it guilt free. My ring is still being made right now, and I cannot wait to receive it and for my fiance to OFFICIALLY pop the big question, with the ring of course. My ring will be the Jubilee, it is beyond beauty itself. I cried after we have ordered my ring, and I know I will cry when I first lay my eyes on it. I also love the customer service representatives, they are so sweet and so helpful. I adore them, they have been nothing but kind. I would know because I called them all the time if I had a question or needed anything. I also would like to point out that the members of the Nexus Design Studio are also very helpful and excellent! The ring just came in today and let me tell you it is breath taking! I love, love, love my frigging ring it is sooooooo beautiful. I cried like a baby when my fiancee put the adorable Jubilee ring on my left ring finger. Wow, just wow. It shines, it is huge, and it is simply stunning! Ugh, I cannot think of any other things to say... I am blown away by this ring and by Diamond Nexus. I love my ring, I know I have the most beautiful ring I could EVER ask for! Jessica D. Don't mean to be a downer for all you lucky couples who are engaged or soon to be engaged but I wanted to share my experience with Diamond Nexus. I purchased an engagement ring and tucked it away, waiting for the right moment to present it to my girlfriend. Unfortunately, that right moment never came and we ended up breaking up. It was two weeks outside the 30-day return policy and I explained my situation to the call center supervisor who simply would not make an exception and refused to allow me to return the ring for a refund. I was offered an even exchange. That's not what I wanted or needed. I pled with the supervisor to no avail. Now I'm stuck with a ring that I have no use for. I guess I can try to sell it but I know I'll receive only a fraction of it's cost. I'm very dissappointed with Diamond Nexus and will never shop there again. Here's the Live Chat conversation I had: You are now chatting with rachel.kashishian rachel.kashishian: Hello. How may I assist you today? rachel.kashishian: Out side of the initial 30-days of receipt we would accept the item for our exchange policy; but a refund would not be allowed. I was waiting to present it. So, you'd rather lose me as a long-term customer rather than be gracious enough and sympathetic enough to allow me to return the ring. It's not as if I was unsatisfied with the ring and took this long to make that decision. It's beautiful. There's no good reason that you've given why you can't give me a refund. My ring is from Diamond Nexus Labs, I have had no problems at all. Its gourgeous! People compliant me on it all the time.

DO NOT BUY FROM DIAMOND NEXUS LABS!!! IT IS JUST A PLAIN CZ STONE! AND A HORIBBLE ONE AT THAT- I PURCHASED MY RING FROM THEM AND IT WAS AWEFUL! STONES FELL OUT AND THEY WOULD DO NOTHING FOR ME STATING IT WAS MY FAULT... I ONLY HAD THE RING FOR 3 DAYS I ENEDED UP RETURNING THE RING AND CALLING MY BANK TO HAVE THE CHARGES REFERSED .. I bought a DNL engagement ring a couple years ago, the diamond has fallen out 3 or 4 times, each time before they replaced it free of charge like it says on their website, with the most recent lost stone, they are charging 'labor and shipping costs' THIS IS NOT STANDING BEHIND YOUR PRODUCT.. im sure the ring will last for a month or two, (hence the 30 day money back guarantee) and then another stone will pop out... The staff is very kind, but my wife's ring has been in their 'shop' just about as long as it has been on her finger. If i could return the ring and get my money back I would.

I received my engagement ring from diamond nexus lab, and at first it was gorgeous, because of course i was drunk on love! Then I noticed that the center stone was completely crooked. I sent it back and they fixed it, about a month later i got my ring back and the center stone started getting super foggy? So I called them again, because they DO NOT return customer service emails. They said to just return the ring and they would replace the center stone, so I got a new ring and the side diamonds started falling out. WTF? SO I called them again and I am on my fourth or fifth version of my engagement ring, and the center stone is starting to get foggy again. I am probably going to switch to a moissanite center stone, still reasonable and not an imitation diamond. Good luck, at this point I would not reccomend, even though the price is sooooo tempting. Just wait for your shipping and repair costs to keep sending it back!

I got the Cinderella staircase ring and so far I love it, it sparkles and have nothing to envy tot he real diamonds.Price was excellent for the 1.2 center carat stone, and the service they offer had worked great for me. Hey I see people bitching about the rings.... ITS A FAKE, you know that going into it. My fiancee and I decided that we could not afford the ring we wanted right now so we chose DNL. I guess they should say its a CZ if labs are testing it as such, but all I know is the ring is beautiful, the setting is solid well built and without flaw, the stones have a ton of fire and she is proud to wear it. Also we dealt with Scott in Customer Service and he was great so I dont know what to tell you other then if you want a diamond go broke and buy it if you want to be responsible and get a nice fake then buy it here.

Unlike most of these comments, I don't work at Diamond Nexus. Bought this from a ring and at first it was great. Then the stone actually chipped! I was told these were as hard as diamonds, just as it says on the site. My girlfriend wasn't punching diamonds or anything so I know it's inferior in hardness. I called them and told them and they said that because my ring was set by another jeweler, the warranty was voided. WHAT A RIP! Then they said if I wanted, that I could buy a new diamond and send them my ring to set. It cost 50 $ bucks for a "setting kit" which is essentially a box to put your ring in. Then you have to pay another $50 to have it reset. The customer services didn't respond to my email and I had to call to get this information. They totally didn't care and said it was probably the people that set my ring's fault. This is not at all true, I had the ring for months before it chipped and got it set at Micheal C. Fina in NY, a really nice place. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Sorry, but the 1ct diamond earrings that I purchased are no comparison to my "real" diamond earrings. They dont look good at all. Poor imitation.

I was a little frustrated with many of the previous comments because they look like they were written by some company employees for Diamond Nexus Labs. Here's my story if it helps: I sincerely thought it was a man made diamond or "lab" diamond because of all their wording. I took the ring in to get sized after getting it (this was about 3 months ago) and when you go to get it sized the jewelry store has to write down what the stones are and what they appraise at. They said it was cubic zirconia. I said that I had specifically called their customer service department and they flat out said it was not cz or any type of cz. I felt betrayed because they told me no, and a really professional jewelry store said of course it is, here is how we can tell, we've seen these come in and showed me some independent research/lab report by a quick google search on their computer. So these are cubic zirconia and they are falsely misleading consumers to believe they are not cz. Nice setting though, I might order some cz off of Ebay and get it set there.
