I had Cutting Edge cater my wedding. I was so glad I did. When I contacted them about catering I spoke to Chad. He was there to help me from start to finish. Any time I had a question or concern he was right there. Chad helped me select my menu and even set up a taste test in the office so we could try some of the food. It really helped us figure out what we wanted to order. Some of the other companies I contacted refused to do a taste test so it really meant a lot to me that Cutting Edge would do one. The hall was beautiful and it made my wedding day extra special. Chad told me that Cutting Edge had added the new bride's room for the hall and I found it to be well-designed and so nice. The staff there at the hall was helpful and friendly. Several of my guests mentioned they really loved the food. The cake was really great too, and I've always had cake that was just okay at other people's weddings. I thought everything turned out just the way I wanted so I feel like I definitely made the right choice with Cutting Edge.

A couple of the staff members were beyond RUDE. We were running about 20-30mins behind schedule and because of it a few of the servers were rude, rushed our entire reception & were very unprofessional. The next day I asked some of my guests how they felt about the staff and they told me that the lady that was in charge of the event was rude and pushy. I was told that when my guests arrived, they gave them a hard time about entering the venue early to use the restroom, they didn't put plates out for my appetizers and when my guests tried using the buffet plates the woman came screaming out of the kitchen and yanked the plates from their hands telling them that we didn't pay for plates and they would have to use napkins! (We paid for Plates!) My family tables didn't get their toasting wine and when we asked about it they brought out 2 bottles (which we had to pay $18.95 each for) without asking us first. They took peoples plates out from in front of them without first asking if they were finished and when they went back for seconds they gave them paper plates. When a few people asked to keep bread or coffee on the tables they told them very rudely "NO". We didn't even get to eat our wedding cake because by the time that we came back from our dances it was gone. The lady in charge told me she packed up my guest book and I have yet to find it. They didn't follow my instructions for setting up the favors and they ended up looking completely ridiculous. The list goes on and on. The food was hot but bland. The facility was nice and clean with the exception being the bathrooms which were lacking. We did have a VERY NICE head table server (Rosie) and a young woman who was in charge towards the end of the evening who was very nice, polite, helpful and professional. Other then that, a good portion of the staff was very rude and pushy. They didn't make us pay for the wine. They appologized for the lack of appetizer plates but did not appologize for the rude staff. In fact the manager whom we informed of the rude staff took their side and told us he didn't understand what they did that was so rude! He offered us a $50 gift certificate which we told him to give to Rosie for doing such a good job. It wasn't about getting our money back or getting someone fired....it was about the way we were treated which obviously didn't make a bit of difference in the end. I would not recommend CEC for your wedding reception.

Our overall experience with CEC was good. We got many complements on the food, and what little my husband and I ate was good. It was family style and all came hot. They set up everything how I wanted and was accommodating. My Ceremony was to be outside but since it had down poured the ground was way too wet for heels so they moved us inside for the ceremony in the back part of the green house not the front inside where the gazebo is. My one worry is that they were going to put the ceremony where the gazebo is in the green house and it is so tight in there and we had about 150ppl for the ceremony. It ended up beautiful and was very happy with it.

I loved this reception site! It was perfect. They have a conservatory attached that can be used for pictures, as well as left open during your reception. Chad was great!!! The process leading up to the wedding was exceptional. Our first experience was the tasting. We were put in a nicely decorated side room and tried so many things. Afterwards, Chad came in and we set our menu. Leading up to the event, Chad was great with communication. China, glassware, linen colors...he covered everything. There was even a problem with the conservatory; the remodeling was going longer than expected. Chad contacted early enough so that I could make a location change for my pictures. Food and staff the night of the event was excellent. Everything went off without a problem.

We were very disappointed with our choice in vendors. The vendor threw away our cake topper (that was hand crafted), they did not light up the front sign for the building so our guests were unable to locate the building and got lost, we were not allowed to bring in our own cake and the cake they provided was decorated very sloppily, the food quality was poor and most people told us that their food was cold - how embarrassing! When we told Chad, the manager, of our dissatisfaction he was very unprofessional in handling the situation and had no compassion for our discontentment (especially for our wedding cake topper - all we wanted was an apology! Instead he blamed it on us. Very unprofessional!) Chad sent us a $25.00 certificate to their catering service which, he spelled my name wrong. Why would we want to return to their poor service? Not a good value for the buck!

Beautiful... there are so many flowers, both inside the greenhouse and outside. It's really comforting to know when you are planning an outdoor wedding that there is a backup (in the greenhouse) that is still just as pretty as the outside location. The ceremony times are a little rigid though and there is no room for being late. The wedding before mine was running behind and they were still finishing up when my guests started arriving and they were around taking pictures during my ceremony. There also was no set times for rehearsals; there were people practicing after my ceremony which limited where we could take pictures afterwards. The reception hall is beautiful and very nicely decorated; the room is large with the dance floor right in the center. The staff was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with.

I thought this was a wonderful company to work with. Extremely flexible with all issues and changes. Put out all of my hand made favors the day of. Allowed me to get extra candles for the tables and set them up no extra charge. Could speak to the person in charge almost every time I had a question or concern and believe me I came up with a million. No charge tastings and the food was amazing. I had numerous people before and after the wedding tell me how they thought the food wasn't like "wedding food"! Great value for the money!!
