Such a pleasure to work with and my guests really enjoyed their music.

As former musicians, Mike & I were looking for beautiful intonation and a broad range of musical styles. Artistrings delivered! The trio we contracted for (violin, pianist, cellist) was outstanding and did not overpower the intimate Founders Room at The Morton Arboretum. The trio played prelude, ceremony, and then music during our brunch. Exceptional!!Beyond this, I reached out to Chris (my vendor contact) just one week before our wedding with a random request - for an Irish folk singer for our Friday evening caeli at Quigleys Pub in Naperville. He made a call and we had a musician less than a week later. I will never forget dancing to When Irish Eyes Are Smiling with my dad and Danny Boy with my groom. What a gift!!THANK YOU! for going that extra mile and for helping Mike & I create a wedding weekend celebration that was so special and memorable.

Carol was very easy to work with. She helped us choose the appropriate number of musicians for our musical selections. The string trio was very professional and did a wonderful job!

Artistrings String Quartet played for my daughter's Ceremony and Cocktail hour @ The Grand Staircase @ The Art Institute of Chicago! My daughter and son-in-law have very diverse musical tastes. The String Quartet played every single musical selection they requested! Classical, Broadway, Tango, Pop, Jazz, Blues, Disney and Classic Vintage music from favorite movies!!! They set up in the balcony for selections before the ceremony and for the ceremony, pure magic!During the cocktail hour they set up on the landing of The Grand Staircase...again pure magic!!!I highly recommend Artistrings!!! They are positively a "Must Have" for an unforgettable wedding!!!! My daughter and son-in-law were thrilled to hear their favorite music played!!! Artistrings was one of the first vendors we booked, and I was so happy we did. Carol was really easy to work with, communicate with, and bounce ideas off of. I had only selected 1 song for my walk down the aisle, and she was really helpful in the song selections for the rest of the ceremony, considering our music aesthetics and making suggestions (with samples!). Our guests loved the mix of traditional and contemporary songs during the cocktail hour - Artistrings added a very special touch to the evening!

I had an outdoor ceremony and wanted to have a string trio to provide the ceremony music. All vendors I had inquired with were pretty strict about having the musicians covered in sunlight. My ceremony location did not have any shade provided. Carol, the owner of the company was very flexible and easy saying we will figure it out - perhaps umbrellas. Since I was dead-set on having a string trio I appreciated their flexibility. I met with Carol personally to go over the playlist. She gave wonderful suggestions on songs. Carol is very prompt in responding to any questions. She makes you feel very special and important which all brides want! It was such a delight to walk down the aisle listening to the beautiful music. I highly recommend Airstrings!

Carol and Chris were a pleasure to work with and extremely professional. Carol was able to help me choose the best music for our ceremony and she and I worked together to pick music that reflected my taste and vision for the ceremony. Even though I had to do much of the planning over the phone and by email, the Groom and I could not have been happier on the results. We had many comments from our guests after the ceremony on how beautiful the music sounded.

As the bride, as I waited behind the trees before my walk down the isle, the sound of the strings filled me up with such beauty I cried before I walked down the isle! Not only do they know all the "traditional" songs for the processions, but they transposed a modern song, "Melt With You" , and knew of the other modern song we wanted to hear on strings, "Love Song" by the Cure, and one by the Beatles. We utilized both classical and modern that made the ceremony so personalized. I have always loved the sound of live strings, and I play cello myself, and they were absolutely perfect! I would absolutely highly recommend them.

Amazing musicians! We received many compliments on their music - we've even had someone plan to use them for their upcoming wedding after hearing them at ours. The strings and piano were a perfect trio for our wedding day. They played all the music I requested at our meeting. And had no problems traveling an hour or little more to our chapel location. They have some amazing talent and would recommend them in a minute.

I wish that I could have had artiststrings the entire night. Their musci was beautiful. Beyond words. It was better than I could have imagined. I would recommend them over and over and over again to everyone. They put such a special touch on my ceremony. I got so many compliments. And, they are extremely easy to work with. We were extremely pleased with the decision to hire Artistrings as our ceremony musicians and would most definitely recommend them. Prior to booking with Artistrings, I had heard and read many good things regarding the company. From the beginning, Carol and Chris Sarlas, of Artistrings, took time to discuss all details from music selections and instrument options to the look/feel of the ceremony. Throughout the entire planning process, Carol was flexible and offered great suggestions for the ceremony. For instance, we asked Carol if the string trio could play the song, "Stand By Me." She said that they hadn't in the past, but would look into it. Only a few minutes later, she reached out to let me know that they would write music to allow the string trio to play "Stand By Me." That was really great!!!The string trio from Artistrings played 30 minutes prior to the ceremony, as well as throughout the entire ceremony. As the bride, I wasn't able to hear the string trio play until I walked down the aisle. However, what I did hear sounded beautiful, and I later had many guests tell me how lovely the string trio sounded. I really can't wait to receive the video from my ceremony, so I can hear all of the pieces that I worked with Carol to choose especially for the day!

We found Artistrings online at theknot.com, and called to inquire about having them play music for the ceremony and cocktail hour at my daughter's wedding. From the first phone call to the day of the wedding, they were one of our favorite vendors to work with. They were friendly and professional. They worked with the bride and groom to tailor the music around their preferences, and were open to play anything from Beatles to Classical. On the day of the wedding their music was one of the highlights. We would recommend Artistrings to anyone in need of their services, and I hope we have another occasion to use them in the future.
